Post a pic, make a new photo challenge!

"next challenge, anything Mitsubishi" :grinning: "from the 80s" :disappointed: I was briefly excited I was finally able to participate in this.

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Used my foot to bend back into place my right rear mud guard assembly that I smashed on a river boulder over the weekend.

    Wheels spacers

I've had 1-inch spacers on my car for 4 years, in conjunction with 33-inch tires and a 2-inch lift. Zero issues.

What is your favorite Go-To knife for overlanding.

I keep a few Benchmade 556 Mini Griptilians stashed around. Typically one is in my pocket and one is in my center console.

    2024 RESOLUTIONS???

Lose weight, exercise more. The vehicle, not me.

    Is ATRAC best avoided?

I have never owned a Toyota or driven anything with ATRAC, but, the SuperSelect system on my Pajero is similar to ATRAC and it works really well. The key is this sentence, "All had a common theme, they just snapped a tooth due while tires were spinning and grabbing traction on snowed in roads"...

    Music and Overlanding

I am a music lover, for sure. But, I tend to not listen to much music when I am out on the trails. Maybe I'll put some on in the car if I need to munch some miles but, otherwise, on the actual trail or at camp, I prefer no music.

What is the last thing you bought and plan to buy?

Last thing I bought: replacement Hydraulic Brake Booster Accumulator Next thing I plan to buy: probably some better/higher-quality tools to replace the crappy/inexpensive tools in my tool roll

    How would you start over?

I love my Pajero. But... to play along, if money were no object and we're daydreaming, I'd love a Jeep Wrangler 392 or, a Rivian R1S. To be more realistic, Toyota made a short-wheelbase, two-door version of the Land Cruiser 120 Prado. I would really like one of these and have seen a few...

Bummed - One of my favorite areas is not the same

It's a shame that places get closed off or otherwise have their access altered. It's a struggle here in NZ, too. But, it's the old joke, "This is why we can't have nice things!" Ignorant people (maliciously ignorant or obliviously ignorant) do ignorant things that ruin it for people who don't...

    Nature Photos

Just a tip that, hopefully, proves useful: If you still have the original photo (eg. not a version uploaded to a website like Overland Bound, Instagram, etc) you may be able to extract the geo coordinates from the photo's EXIF data, depending on certain factors like what type of camera you...

    Mississippi / Louisiana / Alabama

When I lived in Alabama, the vast majority of my off-roading was done on private land. As for "overlanding", specifically, there's no shortage of dirt roads to explore. Autauga County alone had something like 500 miles of unpaved formed roads. Beyond that, there's a handful of National Forests...

Most Expensive Thing That You Have Broken

I crashed my brand-new 2016 Ducati Monster 821 the day I bought it. That sucked...Definitely my most expensive oopsie. Overlanding/off-roading specific: Can't really think of an expensive breakage - mostly just maintenance charges.
