  • Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

One of our UK members currently on a trip in Switzerland has a mechanical, probably fuel supply related, breakdown near Oberalppass (approx. 1.5h from Chur). 1- KZ TE engine in a 1996 Toyota Hilux Siri died out after rough idle. Any help welcome. Just contact me here via the forums if you are able to help and I will coordinate.

I just manually edited the coordinates plus the w3w adress as this failed when creating the support alert. @Kent R @Michael Could you please check if the alert reached members in the right area then?

UPDATE: A helpful overlander has at least towed the rig to a better position near the main road now. So, that a tow truck can hopefully tow the vehicle to a repair shop on Monday in case nobody could help in the meantime. Will keep this thread updated.

UPDATE:
  • Rig was towed to a garage.
  • Problem found.
  • He is currently on the way with another car to get spareparts from Milano in Italy and hopefully this can be fixed then.
They are in good hands at the garage and the owner is very helpful.

Therefore I will set this to resolved.
