Been wearing the Wolverine Wilderness hiking boot for a couple months now. I've worn Wolverines for work for years, and decided to give these a try. They're very comfortable, after about a week of break-in (which seems to be the norm for Wolverines of any style).

The Wifey has been considering one of these mounts for her TJ. How do you like it? Does the door open all the way without hitting the jack?

Also, though I'm certainly no engineer, that seems like an awful lot of potential failure points. I wouldn't trust this to not drop my rig on my face while I was under it. (P.S. - LOLing at the $200 price tag. :laughing:)

I am loving this thread. We have a 6 day trip coming up in September, so I hope to have some things to contribute here upon our return. In the meantime, some of the things reviewed here have got me considering adding to or changing our kit a bit.

Those cots look interesting. What are they, and are they as comfortable as they look?

I grew up in Klamath Falls, and used to go to the Lava Beds once or twice a year. Loved all the exploring I could do underground. Haven't been there since I was in college, so I guess it's about time I go back.

I have an extra plano box on my roof rack. Trash goes in plastic yard bag, bag goes in box. When I get to a garbage can or dumpster that I can use, out it goes.
