    Hi I'm Brooke

Cool. Gonna do any exploring while you're here? Lots of great areas to check out.

    Hi I'm Brooke

Greetings and welcome, from a fellow Xterra owner. I've had mine for 6 or 7 months, and I am absolutely in love with it.

Anyone interested in an all electric overland rig?

Looks interesting. Only 120 or 200 miles range, though. The 120 would work for short day trips, and the 200 might be OK for weekend stuff, but unless you can recharge at a campground or something, longer trips are out. And for me, a big reason for getting into overlanding is to get away from...

Yuck. Hopefully traffic will be tolerable by the time you hit Oregon, at least.

    OB Keychains?

I like it. I was also thinking just this morning that coffee cups would be cool.

Sway bars or no sway bars?

I removed the rear sway bar from my Xterra a couple of weeks ago. No difference in handling whatsoever, which seems to be the norm for Xterras. Results on other vehicles will vary, of course.

What is the last thing you bought and plan to buy?

Comms. Just ordered the other day, only thing that shipped so far is the antenna. Not sure yet what's next.

What was your first vehicle you took exploring.

Believe it or not, a '77 Ford Pinto. I beat the hell out of that thing. Sold it when I went to college, then bought a '74 Dodge Power Wagon.

    PANTS

I wear the Wrangler Riggs Ranger pants for work, and started wearing them on the trail a while back as well. They're heavier, but relaxed-type fit, so they breathe well and aren't horrible when it's hot. I've never gotten around to picking any up, but they also make a shorts version.

What have you built for you rig.

Rear cargo rack, made from a Harbor Freight trailer hitch basket.
