  • Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Removed the rear sway bar. Was also going to do a rear dif breather tube, but forgot to get hose clamps. With all the weekend crazyness going on, I really didn't feel like going all the way back into town just for those, so that will wait. Grocery store has a very small hardware section...

OB Pacific Northwest Trail Run - 2017 Edition

^^ This. Also, for those of us from out of state, where do we get the passes? Are they available online, and of so, how long does it take to get them?

    Who's in the Region?

Molalla, OR here. On the map, it doesn't look like there's anyone in my immediate area. Lots of people in the Portland area, though.

Thanks, a lot of info there. I'll look into some of the suggestions made.

My neck of the woods, but never been there. This photo makes me want to go find that spot!

    Wrenching on their own rigs?

I've always worked on my own vehicles. Could never afford shop rates.

    Cpap and overland?

Interested in this myself. I've seen people run a second battery with a power inverter hooked up to it. I'm considering that route, but maybe other options will be presented here.

Nice. Is that a solar panel up top at the front?

    Nature Photos

Abiqua Falls. You have to hike down a very steep trail. In some places, there are ropes tied to trees to help you down (and back up again). Once at the creek, you hike upstream about a quarter mile or so. You come around a corner to see this: I've only been the one time, even though it's...

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Ordered the lift kit today, since it's on sale for about 40% off. Won't actually install it until I have tires, which in turn won't happen until the bikes sell. Hopefully within the month. Would love to have it installed in time for the trail run in August.

#5972; checking in from Portland - hello!

I only just discovered Abiqua Falls last summer. Gorgeous. Went during the week while I was on vacation, had the place to myself for about 2 hours. Have you had a chance to check out the map yet? Quite a few in PNW. Many in Oregon seem to be congregated in Portland.

#5972; checking in from Portland - hello!

Nice. Ever been out to the Table Rock area? It's kind of my go-to zone when I want to get out. Or out of Scotts Mills, run up Crooked Finger. Spent a lot of time up in there, too.

Tell me about aftermarket support for your rig?

TerryD said pretty much what I was going to, and then some. I would only add that because it's a smaller market, the prices for some things are considerably higher.
