I haven't seen one like this that connects to a power tool battery (pretty cool), but I have a cordless rechargeable soldering iron not much bigger than a ink pen that I keep in my centre console. I've never had to use it and hope I never will, though.
I have never owned a Toyota or driven anything with ATRAC, but, the SuperSelect system on my Pajero is similar to ATRAC and it works really well.
The key is this sentence, "All had a common theme, they just snapped a tooth due while tires were spinning and grabbing traction on snowed in roads"...
I am a music lover, for sure. But, I tend to not listen to much music when I am out on the trails. Maybe I'll put some on in the car if I need to munch some miles but, otherwise, on the actual trail or at camp, I prefer no music.

Next thing I plan to buy: probably some better/higher-quality tools to replace the crappy/inexpensive tools in my tool roll
