Installed some LED Headlights.
It wasnt a standard job. There are no LED units for the Liberty, so I had to make some.

It's a Fiskars 18 inch - D-Handled Pruning Saw. $20 at Home Depot. Extremely sharp and the D-handle is (at least for me) is ergonomically perfect.

Ok I fitted my rods in -26 today. Fronts were not to bad. But OMFG the rear. You have to lay down and get under the pre lifted vehicle.. frost nip to the fingers and a mudded suit.

These are not a 5 min pop on off prior to jumping on the trail.

Well it’s all good now but I hit the roof of my apartment so I need to be careful

You did what I’m going to do with my recovery kit. Just waiting to get a cheap second hand double rifle case

Keep an eye on Sam's Club. I bought two of them new from Sam's Club for less than $70 each (seasonal closeout). Before mounting them to the truck, I sprayed the tops and sides with Plasti-Dip to protect them from UV degradation. If the plasti-Dip gets scratched off It's easy to re-apply.

Finally got the rack in for my P38 Range Rover. It's beautiful. Voyager Off-Road has done an amazing job. I highly recommend them. Easy install too. This is step 1 in a 2 stage process. The second stage is installing a bench seat in the back for extra passengers. I had to get a rack (plus I wanted one) so I could put the spare up there to create more legs room for the back passengers. I'll post later about the seat when I get it installed.

I added the Teraflex Big Rotor Kit to Polar Express. Big difference in stopping power and pedal feel from stock.

Parts replaced:

4 new brakerotors
8 new brakepads
5.8L/1.4 US gallons of oil
1 new oilfilter
1 new waterpump and gasket
2 new belts

Price: $2481,07 all in for 11 hours of work.

Conclusion: I need to save up and find a 4wd with cheaper parts, Hyundai's are expensive!

I got a new ZZ4 350cid (5.7L) crate motor for less than half that price, granted it was an insanely lucky find... I'm just sayin.

And... that is why I do the work myself.

Save money and I know it’s done right.

Those are expensive parts! You can usually buy OEM parts for 50% off at the auto parts store. Dealers/mechanics mark them up for even more profit.

That $1000 would have bought some nice tools and paid for themselves their first use.
