Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
I bet we could camp anywhere back there. Google Maps doesn't show land management, but if it's BLM or National Forest we'd be fine. I'll swing by REI and pick up a map.
I have the golden touch when it comes to campsite serendipity. Any time any place, I can find a stellar site!

That's a cool area that I've been wanting to explore. If you want I could also take you out to Lagomarsino Petroglyphs as well. There's camping at Ft. Churchill I think, or we could rough it somewhere.

My trailer just has a big shelf for a kitchen. I set up a water jug on one end and a stove on the other. and a big cutting board in between. It's CENTRAL to camp. Really important. Space is key. More important than features IMO.

They are big with lots of room and have a v8! But they were also EXPENSIVE and now are discontinued. Probably there isn't a lot of aftermarket support for them now.

DJI makes a cool gimbal with a camera on it that uses your phone as a monitor.
Otherwise, you could get one that supports 1/4 x 20 thread mount and find a tripod mount for your phone and the tripod mount for the GoPro.
Where are your videos? Sounds cool.

Little FRS radios are nice. Very effective and less install than CB.
CB isn't worth the effort in my opinion.
And, because the FCC seems to require it, I have to state that HAM is way better than both.
That requires a test to get a license.
GMRS is higher power than FRS and the license is...

I mean no disrespect to Subaru or Suby drivers. I drove one for many many years. I don't believe the average Suby owner would do this trail. But i would be stoked to...

Local Adventures: Hunter Lake Jeep Trail
It’s probably a common anxiety dream. You are at school, or work, or the local grocery store, or just at home and something isn't right. It doesn’t look like home...
The current hitch is one of those clamp on receivers for the rear bumper of an RV or travel trailer. It was my idea, and i paid a guy to install it and he did not make it strong enough. I tried to reinforce it, but it ended up not being enough.
Here is the underside if the trailer:
