Fall foliage, vistas and 4x4 High Clearance trails. An easy route in Bald Eagle State Forest and nearby Rothrock SF

Fall foliage and vistas in Rothrock here is one that can be easily incorporated with the one above. If coming from west of central PA. you could travel through here to get to the Bald Eagle Route. This one does include a 4x4 HC trail and if you like to take short hikes...a fire tower and some...

Modifying old pickup 4 new bed accessories

Sorry. Did not mean to highjack your thread. I just was curious how you were going to worry about accessories for a vehicle that would not meet your criteria. Honestly...most universal accessories can work. I have a bed extender, bed cover and some other things...that although made for a 2013...

Modifying old pickup 4 new bed accessories

By the early 2000s most full size trucks got rid if the manual option. My 99 has the 5 speed and 3 pedals only shot of the wonderful manual selector I have on my phone (man I miss that dog) By 2009 the only RAM to have a manual was behind a Cummins. 2018 was the last hoorah for the manual...

Modifying old pickup 4 new bed accessories

Curious...by standard transmission...do you mean with a shifter and a clutch? I ask because I believe the avalanche never was available and not sure about the tundra...but if it did it would be very hard to find. Just curious.

Chevy vs Ford vs Toyota pickup

They are all junk. Pick the one you like to look at the top of the hood on and go adventure. This is an overlanding group. Many different walks of life with many varying opinions. You can not find some one to agree about a truck on fan boy pages much less on here. There have been 3 different...

Chevy vs Ford vs Toyota pickup

Looking at new trucks. Ram 2500 Tradesman with Powerwagon Package. Get it with RAMBOX and hit the trails. If I did not use the hell out of my 8 foot bed...one would be in the drive. If I was doing this by myself...i would be getting another one of these and love the simplicity and be truly...

Chevy vs Ford vs Toyota pickup

I wish I could offer some advice...but not sure what is a Chevy, ford or Toyota...lol. Now Dodge or RAM...they are what work for me. I have 3. All 2500s and they work great for what I use them for. They are all stock and have been all over the wilds of Pennsylvania 2 HEMI engines and a V10 Magnum

HONDA CR-V 4WD EX (on Two-Track + Daily Drive Roads) RD1 in South New Jersey

Awesome. I agree with @MuckSavage the leas you look like an overlander...the easy enjoying the rig you got will be. Your vehicle is capable of getting to 99 percent of the legal places in the area. A much better overall experience when you blend in vs stand out...my opinion. Your setup looks...

THE GAP...where purple lizard has not mapped.

Yes there is. An interesting fact about the roads here. Alot of them dead end at the rivers. Not many bridges over the rivers. On the route I made...only 3 places to make the crossing. A very interesting topographical finding.
