I have many threads about the forests of Pennsylvania. And this is a supplement to Connecting the forests in Central Pennsylvania.
I have thoroughly explored the lizard maps...and have learned so much from them.
THE GAP, the area between the Moshannon/Quehanna map and the Pine Creek map/Bald Eagle Map.
This area is mainly Sproul State Forest...but there are also sections of Elk, Tioga, Susquehannock and Tiadaghton.
I used the Sproul State Forest day use map and Pennsylvania Sportsman Atlas to navigate this area.
Her is my preliminary route through the area.
