Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
So I decided to get out to Loyalsock. It is a 2 hour highway drive. But who wants to drive the highway.
So, starting in Rothrock going through Bald Eagle up through Pine Creek and then over to Loyalsock and across is about a 14 hour dirt road extravaganza.
So that is too much for a day...
Worked out a route today.
So the first thing I do is go to the Legend and see what is up. And right off I notice no 4x4 High Clearance roads. So no need to seek them out. Next I look for motorized campsites. Seems the area has quite a few. Then I scope out the purple lizards. If I remember...
Purple Lizard map for here is still delayed.
So I borrowed some info from the internet. www.tacomaworld.com
Tuscarora State Forest Dispersed Sites:

2wd with the eLocker will get someone 98% of the places.
The diesel and 2wd will give a long range on a single tank of fuel.
I was hoping RAM would bring the built to serve to...
I thought more were sold out(or they havent updated the site)
Army and Navy are sold out.
Air Force Marine Corps and Coast Guard still show available. But being that they finished a few months ago and the shortage of trucks...gonna be fun finding one.
Unless you already did...then forgive...
I am partial to the Ramcharger...but there is nothing like owning a vehicle with memories.
Bronco, Blazer, Ramcharger are all nearly equal and alot of stuff made for them will interchange.
Good luck with the build. And get that 2 year old interested. They love to be hands on, you just got to...

2. At the top of the hill. Near the Indian lookout. Close to the road...but great spot for hammock camping. Great views near the site
3. Flat. Large. Has an awesome stream with swimming area back a trail...
