darn.. I know where movie road is, but where you guys camped looked SWEET! Wanted to go take photos there..
By the way, is there pretty good wheeling inside Alabama Hills? I went with my impreza, but stayed mostly on the main road. Now i'll be doing it in a 4th gen 4runner. :) I don't feel...
Sorry about the bump from the dead, but I'm planning on making a last minute trip to here this week and came across the OB video on youtube. Does anyone know what the coordinates are for the campsite you guys were at?
Thanks in advance!
A little off-topic, but..
I'm planning to make a solo last minute trip to Alabama Hills along with some surrounding areas, since I need a get away..
I've been to Alabama Hills, but I only took the main road, along with some side roads to get to camp. Are there any maps that I could use to point...
Might be interested in joining, but would also like to know for future reference..
Can a stock 4th gen 4runner with non-AT tires be able to do Reward Mine and Cerro Gordo without problems?
Most likely, just disperse around the body of water, close to camp. Then drive around go wheeling a bit, then get to a new camp site, or the same camp site.
I checked out Letts Lake with your recommendation, Looks sweet!
Are there any wheeling spots there? Any recommendations while I'm...
Hello all,
I'm planning on making a camping trip with my friends and I'd like to take them wheeling to get to camp, and wake up the next morning to watch the sunrise while fishing.
Ideally, I'd like to camp right along the water, and be able to take them on a dirt trail to get to camp...
I found them on Etsy, from this store. Took about 2 weeks time. 3 days to make it, the rest to get it shipped over seas, through customs, and at my door, from Russia.
I always carry a Ontario Rat 1 in my pocket. An Esee 6 on the outside of the backpack or in the car. A spare Kershaw mini in the backpack.
My Rat 1 with custom scales. :) One beast of a knife. Best part about it? It's only like $20 off amazon. I've owned Kershaw and CRKT, but I keep going back...
Interestingly enough, I read that the silver was the most common 4runner. I really thought I could get a silver one, but oh well..
Wow, thanks for the heads up. I might be waxing the car often then.....
