For those who have built your own body armor, I have a few questions

Dumb question... Whats the difference between the frame and body? The crash beam is mounted on the frame, isn't it? Yea, I've been designing stuff out, but I don't know if it's worth the time. haha

Hollister Hills trip soon. First timer, some questions.

Is there only one overlook? Sounds like there's a few. Yea, by no means do I plan on going on the hard trails. Maybe just stick with greens for now, but we'll see :) I have Goodyear FuelMax tires. They came with the car when I purchased it less than 2 months ago. Probably terrible for...

No worries. Appreciate the help though. Are the spots well marked or easy to find?

For those who have built your own body armor, I have a few questions

Thanks for the video! Dumb question, why is there so much deflection in the slider though? You can see it during slowmo, right before and when the car is dropping. Is it normal? I was thinking to use the factory mounts for the crash beam, by building a plate that aligns with the factory...

For those who have built your own body armor, I have a few questions

Hello all, Background: I've been aching to build some body armor for my rig but I can't really find any information on what should be ideal. My background has nothing to do with metal fabbing, so this will be my first time doing something like this. But I will be asking my friend who does...

Hollister Hills trip soon. First timer, some questions.

Hello all, I've been aching to go to Hollister Hills since i've never been there before. I have a stock 4th gen 4runner, so I have a few questions. 1. Is it safe to go solo(single rig)? 2. What recovery gear should I be bringing with me? 3. What trails do you recommend I go on with a stock...

2017 Forester XT: Tiny overlander with big dreams

Darn. Was hoping if there was any update on old coast road.. Been wanting to go back there. Glad to know that you didn't need a key and the gate may close during the summer. I might try to plan something out there.. :)

2017 Forester XT: Tiny overlander with big dreams

Would you happen to have the route you took from Panoche Hills to New Idria? Sounds quite interesting, and that water crossing looks fun! Did you need any licenses or anything? I believe I read along time ago we need a license or gate key for New Idria.. Your image didn't look like Old Coast...

What auxiliary items do you have? Where did you mount your switches?

What auxiliary items do you have? Where did you mount your switches?

That looks quite cool. How does it affect cabin air flow? And I'm guessing it only shoots straight out...
