I'm getting the RPG Off-road prerunner bumper and since I'm local to them I'm getting them to do the install to make sure its done right (plus don't think i have the skillset or tools to cut anything). Since I have the EcoBoost I purchased the intercooler relocation kit.
Nice! Kings or Icons will probably be my next big thing after my front bumper is done. The switchpro makes everything easier, but putting the lights wire in the cable protectors was the biggest pain. Can't help you on the slider for the fridge as I have mine in the cab.
Thanks! Yea so far no issues with either. RCI got a good test in Arizona and has held up. I went with the switchpro but was heavily debating between the two.
I have Bilsteins 5100 but will upgrade eventually. I blew threw my original warranty long ago and didn't upgrade to the 100k since I will...
I have mine opening to the passenger side. Didn't put much thought into it but the main reason is because I have my awning opening up on the driver side. An option would be a pop up hard top where you can place the ladder on side or rear.
I carry a Silky Katanaboy 500mm Folding XL teeth with me. Works pretty well and takes up little space. For heavy tree work maybe I’ll get a chainsaw but it is good for emergency clearings
Haven't updated in a while, but there has been a few changes:
1. Installed KC Hilites C-series area Lights, 2 on the left, 2 on the rear, and 2 on the right. Each side is on its own switch so I can light up only one side to not disturbed neighbors if in a developed sites. The switched used is a...
Depending if I can convince the wife I may be heading up the 3rd and out on the 5th for my parent's anniversary. Sounds like Monache Meadows is getting more popular so concerned about it being crowded this weekend.
Changed up the grill of my F-150. Slowly getting rid of the chrome. Also did some prep work for tomorrow's light install with wiring the switch pro into the cab.
Maybe you should get a tablet dedicated to navigating. You can input trails on Gaia and just have them all downloaded into there. That way you just start up the app and select the trail to navigate to. May be some work upfront but a good option rather than the overlander.
Removed the chrome sidesteps and got some welded rock sliders installed by a local fabricator. He did an awesome job and now most of my armor is complete. Thanks to @Ncat for the recommendation.
