    New Vehicle Purchase

This is a good option. I've head a lot of good things about GX460 and GX470. They are getting more popular in the off road/overlanding community. I would go used and use all that money saved to upgrade your truck. Plus, having less car payments are a plus.

Full Size - Overland Specific Gear

I'm running 33s and it fits in the normal location. I prefer to have the tire easily accessible rather than below the truck.

    Winch Options? - Need advice ('18 F150)

Agreed. It is a pain that they put the CAC so low. I didn't know about this issue until I started looking into a winch. It depends. If you have good car knowledge it should be relatively straight forward. Even with little, as long as you have the right tools and follow the instructions, it...

    Fabrication Shops

I've seen good things coming from Stellar Built: https://stellarbuilt.com I'm actually looking to get a quote from them for my F-150 because I haven't seen anything from fab shops similar near me. If you go to their Instagram they have good pictures for examples of whatever work you want done.

Full Size - Overland Specific Gear

I've been looking for awhile and haven't really seen any true rock sliders for a F-150. I'm probably going to go to a fabricator for my rock sliders and possibly rear bumper. I would love someone to make a rear bumper with a swing out for a spare and 2 jerry cans, but its impossible to find for...

Full race intercooler relocation kit is the one I’m looking at right now. The front of my truck is my big upgrade I’m saving money for currently. I plan on doing the relocation, bumper, winch, light bar, and maybe change the grill (hate the Lariat design) all at once.

    New dometic cfx3 55 info

Agreed. I think for ice I'm still going to have a small cooler dedicated to just ice if needed, but for the most part I drink water and beer when out.

    Beta 0.9.0 Release Notes

Provide report type: Bug Provide platform: iOS Provide Device Info: iPhone X Reproduction steps: Scrolling down the feed. This also happened in the original version, but keep on forgetting to report it. Sometimes, as I'm scrolling down and get to the end and when more threads show up, I get a...

    New dometic cfx3 55 info

I got it during the REI member sale, but haven't had a chance to use it yet due to the quarantine. The ice will be pretty small ice cubes but it is better than nothing. The only test I did was to turn it on and making sure it worked.

    Greetings from San Diego

Welcome! This is a great size for ideas and resources for off-roading/overlanding. Glad to see another person with a full size truck on here.

    SXMA Fuel Tank Cans?

That is pretty expensive for a 5 gallon fuel can. To compare: Wavian 5 gallon jerry can: $80 ($16 per gallon) Rotopax 4.5gallon: $99.99 ($22.22 per gallon) SXMA Fuel Tank Cans 5 gallon: $189 ($37.8 per gallon) 2 fuel cans that look similar but can't confirm if they are SXMA: 8 gallon: $155...

    2018 F-150 Build

Haven't had a real hard off road test yet. Just some wash boards and fire roads. I have a couple of trips planned pretty soon if the quarantine is lifted to test the truck out.

    Modular Truck Setup

Storage boxes are the best way to change up a setup. the OB blog actually has a good breakdown for 3 boxes, and I roughly do the same. Also, kind of pricy, but Leitner Designs racks are another way to have some modularity as well. Great customer service and product.

    Rooftop tent

If you decide on a RTT, I would save the money for the hard shell tent. If you move each day, the ease of a hard top helps. I’ve heard good things about gazelle tents, but I really like the ease of having a RTT and not worrying about rocks etc.
