Ford Maverick and the small overlanding pickup truck

We just renewed our mortgage so that obstacle is completed. next up is to get behind the wheel of a mav and see how it drives. I can't do the F150, it's just too big. So I got my money back and my father will sell or trade it in later for a new rig for him and my mom. The maverick is the...

I just checked to see if you posted this on 4:20. Ha ha ha.

Taking our 2016 F150 to the next level.

If I go with a rough country kit, it will be the vertex equipped version. I had their other struts and they are not great. We may not take over the F150 afterall. I am so smitten with the Maverick. I like small vehicles. But if we do keep the F150, it will be built quickly.

    “Work from home” solutions

Being a sushi chef, maybe you could branch out to becoming a personal chef depending on your location. You can work your own hours. Want to make some wheat, nut and seed free versions for me? ha ha. EDIT: Just noticed you are in big bear. Get a food truck work 3 days a week and you should...

    Fresh Start

That already has the lights in it, they come with covers to cover the glass. I would just intall 50w 4300k HID into those and have stupid awesome lighting for next to nothing cost wise.

2020 Chevy Colorado Z71 Long bed Build

Awesome. It's coming together very nicely. The only thing I would do is swap the two yellows with the two outer lights in the edges of the bumpers. You will get more spread for fog then.

    Ram Cummins (unreliable)

Welcome to owning a Jeep/Dodge product. in 150,000km of ownership of our Jeep, we have replaced everything in the suspension 2 times, throttle body, 3 sets of plugs, various electrical things, stereo pooped the bed, I could go on and on. The most reliable dodge/jeep product I owned was my 2011...

    “Work from home” solutions

I stil do some writing for various places, but I picked up a part time job at Bell Canada selling phones, data plans and home services. I work 40 hrs every two weeks and then I have the rest of that time off. I work 6 days on 8 days off. I make enough in those two weeks in commission to equal...

Overland rack for hard truck caps? Anyone make them?

I found a rack made by US Racks that will serve as a base for our rack. We are going to add molle panels to the sides and a platform on top to carry stuff. When needed the platform can be removed and the yak raks put up to carry our kayaks.

Taking our 2016 F150 to the next level.

Widebody back on, just not AS wide. Fiberwerx makes a raptor style conversion which is only 2.5 inches wider than stock per side instead of the 4.5 of a real raptor. It comes with everything to do the body from the hood, to the bumper end caps. So, while it's going to have some meaty looks to...

Ok, I might give those a try and see what happens. If they were defective both lights would not have flashed. I don't think.

I have tried the decoders sold at action truck caps here locally and they never helped.

The Autism Family Travels updated vehicle build. Take two! 2015 Jeep Patriot altitude.

We just got our Patriot back from the mechanic. 3200 dollars later. Oil change, trans fluid change (finally), 3 wheel bearings, two more front control arms/balljoints, new brake pads, and more. It feels brand new as it should. Let see how long that lasts. Hopefully we get more than a year of...

    Canada?

Anyone running Bora spacers on their rigs?

Thanks again, I can't wait to get the lift tires and other accessories on it. It will be our primary rig moving forward.

Anyone running Bora spacers on their rigs?

Thanks for responding. I have spacers on my patriot for the same reasons you state. I think 1.25 will be enough on my F150 with the stock wheels and 285/75/17s
