    SVO ....Small Vehicle Overlanding

Still around? I just found a 2004 escape in NL with 85,000 kms on it. Got the 4wd switch and a manik brush guard too. Waiting for exterior pics. Maybe my second ride. I am looking for something cheap and I know I like how the escape drives, but mine was a crap patch job before. Hopefully, this...

Do you have the hella's on the roof HID converted as well? Hella housing with HID conversion are one of the most cost effective, great lighting options out there. You get a great amount of focused light, in the right spots for not alot of money. I am debating just going this route on the patriot.

The Autism Family Travels updated vehicle build. Take two! 2015 Jeep Patriot altitude.

So, it drives like a new vehicle. It's been so long, I have forgotten what it was really like. It now handles off road with ease. Kelly's mother lives in a duplex that has a dirt road to it, and the pat can fly down that road now, where before with the lift, I would have to crawl just to not...

Are there any good cheaper action cameras out for mounting on the Jeep?

Actually cheap is quite literal here. 100-150 bucks each is the price point for something decent.

Another roller coaster ride, 640 dollars for new adjustable rear toe links, and alignment. The Jeep is finally 100 percent repaired from the lift. Onward and upward! More infomation after I get Colin on the school bus! ha ha.

Are there any good cheaper action cameras out for mounting on the Jeep?

I am looking to purchase 2 or 3 action cams to mount around the jeep when we are travelling. Are gopro still the only good option or are there cheaper options with decent stabilization now? I am going to be mounting one with wide angle facing us in the rig, then 2 on the roof rack, one facing...

The "sealed" trans can actually be serviced. Just need the proper techniques. I am doing the fluid change in a couple of weeks.

Yeah, it's been a roller coaster ride (pardon the pun) for sure. It's running great now, besides the stereo just crapped the bed. So we now have to replace that. We are going ot get the 10" android unit with carplay. Review up coming/

Gone. Damn. Oh well, just drive the wheels off our newly awesome riding pat and say EFF it for this year. We lost 1.75" of clearance with the removable of the RC kit, but we gained a much smoother, non banging on every bump suspension. We will take it. Just pic our lines carefully when...

I just found a new lift kit we are looking at buying. Its going to give about 6 to 8 inches of lift over the patriot. ha ha. 2017 rubicon recon edition. There is one for sale locally for a good price. It has most of the upgrades over the sport I would want to do. Only things we would have to...

Is the Overlanding community killing itself

That's how we rocked our Jeeps too. Kept the stock bumpers etc as they were light, rust proof and worked. I did add a MBRP light mount and hellas for avoiding getting taken out by copious amounts of moose we have on our roads. I kick myself every day for selling that rig. It was built perfect.
