    Grand Vitara ||

I would love to have the Vitara xl-7 from the early 2000s. Those were always cool little rigs. My next door neighbour has a GV in white, It's a nice rig for sure. It's great to see the odd balls being built to do some traveling. Not all Wranglers and 4runners!

New shoes day! Just got cooper Discoverer Road and trail ATs installed on the patriot. They are going to be a great tire for our adventures! Only got an install pic I sent Kelly while I was getting them installed. I will get more later today for ya'll.

Is the Overlanding community killing itself

I left Expo for the most part after I found OB. More down to earth regular people here. Over there are people who, in their own minds are the only people who know anything about anything. Only 150k rigs allowed, only the best this, the best that. blah blah blah. I left over there after that.

    Building a 2024 Outback Wilderness

Is the Overlanding community killing itself

You must be new. That toxicity has been there LONG before covid. That's why we came to find OB. You want toxicity? Go visit Expo. That place is NUTS! I log in there once every blue moon to look at the classifieds.

    Fresh Start

Moog. High quality, great warranty and available most anywhere. Was looking at your previous photos, you should pick up a Meguiar's headlight restoration kit and hit those lights with it. It will do wonders for your light output! Great choice on the tires too. We run the same ones!

    Mountain biking

Just put together my father's day gift. A voltbike Kodiak cargo ebike for commuting. It's a freakin blast to ride! I will be getting some bags etc for it today to haul some groceries etc around with.

Ford Maverick and the small overlanding pickup truck

it's far from a "turd". and no, the mav has been proven reliable for hundreds of thousands of miles already. it's not a jeep/dodge/Chrysler product remember. You can drive it, change oil and keep going. Poorly built? did you just not read my previous post? course' not.

A month of driving in now and she's all good. It hasn't driven this good since we bought it. I am looking at new tires, and possibly the daystar lift. Anyone who has a pat out there it's worth your money to get appcar diagFCA. We have it, moved out daytimes to low beam not to blind drivers...

    Subaru Outback Wilderness

Congrats on the widleri people. There will be an outback replacing the patriot when the time comes. Hopefully a wilderness model if the deal is right, if not, I will make it one ha ha.

Fridge mount for the back seat of F150 crew?

I am not so worried about pulling it in and out. I am more worried about it launching in an incident. I want to just keep it locked down securely in the space on the floor and be able to open the lid with the door open.

Fridge mount for the back seat of F150 crew?

Does anyone know of a mountable fridge mount for the back seat area of the 2016 era F150? we are looking for one for ours!

Taking our 2016 F150 to the next level.

So we have the F150 back and did a 1000km road trip this weekend. Yahhhhhhh we are keeping it. ha ha.

Outback owners who came from Wrangler unlimited...A couple of questions!

Yeah, CVTs for the most part are garbage. I have a 2003 audi A4 v6 with one and it's giving me fits. I think its just a fluid and reprogram issue. The Jatco garbage is just that. Garbage. The Rogue is a really nice vehicle but I would not trust driving it for more than 20k before trading it...

Ford Maverick and the small overlanding pickup truck

Fords "crappy" regular vehicles are still 1000000 times more reliable than the "best" dodge/jeep vehicle so there is that! My Jeep got 150k on it and has had everything under neath it replaced 2 times some of it three times....Our F150 that's a year newer has 178k on it and it had one ball...

Could have been the one I drove too. It wasn't a new one. But only had 70k kms on it. It was not a great experience.

Ford Maverick and the small overlanding pickup truck

I have actually. I had a used FX4 out not long ago and I didn't like it at all. Not sure if it was just that one. But it felt cheap and the drivetrain was terrible. I may look at the new one once they get a couple on the lot here. See if the update made it feel nicer.
