Gear America has reasonable prices, made in USA. I have their Rope, straps and mega shackles plus soft shackles. Kinetic rope is great for fairly simple recoveries but I use a winch for anything serious.
The Safty seal is heavy duty, had one for years. Keep the plugs sealed in a baggie, they last longer. Google can show you a lot of different "plug" technology. Colby valve stems are a good add to the kit.
I use a ScangaugeII and I keep a eye on timing, AIT, MAF, wotking on programing to watch what gear it's in. The truck has a DIC for tran temp and other items.
Aftermarket bumpers add a lot of weight. I went with a hiddon winch on my truck and still added 125lbs. Relentless are probably the best for bumpers. Check out Timbren off road bump stops, great upgrade. 589Fab shock relocation is a major upgrade for ground clearance. Are you thinking rack...
These bags double as a winch line dampener. Not so large that they are hard to handle when full of gear.

Everyday I see local posts on someone having some type of equipment stolen from the outside of thier rig. RTT's are a big target. I see 3-4 rigs a month stolen and found later in the woods stripped of everything.
I keep most my gear in locked Decked drawer system, I have 2 totes in the bed...
It took a few trips with my Decked drawers to get the configuration I wanted. I found the "tool box" and "dividers" didn't give me the desired effect, they are limited in placement. I finally have things organized with the tings I need most often at the front. Tie downs are in the storage...
The Taco's and Colorado's are very similar, wheel base with in a inch, 4lo ratio is very close, 2.5 vs 2.7, taco cab is a bit smaller inside and taco sure has a lot more aftermarket support. The ZR2 with 2 lockers and wider track is a plus.
Full size trucks, longer WB have flex, even my mid size has some flex. It's normal to a certain point but it can become excessive if you old and hard cab/bed mounts.
Looks just like my bed with a better stove. Same can of Cappuccino. Do you use some kind of mattres for sleeping? I just got a 3" memory foam roll up, need to use it when they open the woods back up.
589Fab rear shock relocation and Trifecta tune are the best mods I've done. Timbren bump stops, gears, steel drive shaft, skidz. The AEV 33" trim kit allows you to keep the truck at OEM height and still run 33-34" tires, you want to keep CG low. The Decked system with a Softopper make a great...
It can be very spendy to go out and buy all your recovery gear at one time. I've acquired gear over a 40 year span, some of it I've had to replace due to age and wear and tear. The new synthetic winch line, recovery ropes are light years ahead of old school steel line.
The above video is...
