Sweet, I saw those once but didn't know who made them. that's a fantastic option since its removable. I don't carry my spare unless i'm going offroad, due to space, I just keep a plug kit in the truck.
My wife took me to REI the other day, and I was looking at the 7 gal jugs they have for under $20. I've still got plenty of room so I don't have to bee too picky.
There is a serious lack of full size support from most of the offroad equipment manufacturers. I havent seen a bumper mount tire carrier, only a tailgate replacement. You could get whatever bumper you like, and take it to a shop to add a tire carrier.
I've got a 07 2500HD Silverado. Like the OG OB Michael, I've got a X2Power that I've had about 5 years. My truck does a fair amount of sitting because I'm often riding. Never had an issue with it. Plus massive 880 CCA, 60 month warranty, and batteries plus is running some specials...

Depending on the type of terrain you plan on conquering, a hitch mount cargo carrier can be very useful. Easy to remove, immediate access and less than $100 for 500 lbs capacity. If you go with some nice weather proof containers like Luis Merlo you can set them outside while sleeping and inside...
I was recommending glove to my mother-in-law last night, and thought to look up who makes the gloves I got from the Marine corps. I've been wearing the gloves, beanie, and neck gaiter for over a decade now. I think the gloves are even technically liners. Outdoor research is the company, they...
I really like the look of the safe jack recovery kit. I asked about size and weight of the 6 ton kit. From safe jack "Our 37M-BJRK-6W (6 Ton Bottle Jack Recovery Kit - With Bottle Jack) weight 24lbs. The canvas bag dimensions are: 12"x7"x9"."
While not light, it provides a lot of lift height...
