lol... sorry I wasn't offering it... it was more my shop manager telling me we need to get rid of parts. lol
the oil filter / cooler is a must in my book. keeps the temps down. and keeps the pool fresh, you already have the bypass filter which is an also must on the 6.0
Nice looking truck.. I have a Powermac v4 for the 6.0 in storage we never used my shop manager just reminded me about. Mounted and then went to twins... would take a reasonable offer for it.
I'd add the Bullet proof diesel oil filter relocation kit and cooler, adds huge oil volume. just...
well, I have a lot of experience with 6.0's in the excursion and 3.73 gears. you will need to tune the truck if you switch to 37's. The 6.0 is RPM sensitive, more so than any other power stroke.
if you go to 37's, I'd also change the turbo, and tune it. when you do so.. if you have not...
I need to get together with someone with a radio set up to check transmission / reception ... sound quality etc... just reinstalled radios and basically need a confirmation that my CB and GMRS radios are working right before I hit the trail.
I'm running the same suspension, with torsion sway bar and Bilstein 5160's for now. I didn't want to go the pintops until I saw the rest of the system work. I'm not running Baja.
I've got a 2018 in Blue Jeans Blue. I highly recommend tuning the truck with this.
EZ LYNK AutoAgent™ 2.0 w/ 2013-2019 Power Stroke Support Pack. I tuned mine at 10,000 miles. now have 53k on it. running 35's I'm getting 18 fully loaded.. and the switchable tune works great for all...
I just added a new radio set up in me truck. any one in DFW who can give me some assistance with radio checks? cb and GMRS systems. I need to check signal strengths and quality transmitting and receiving. North Dallas. / Frisco preferred.
Respectfully.... so are we suppose to wait 50 years?
when configuring a solar set up... I wouldn't even consider Engel. they cycle too frequently, and don't offer the long term running time of the Snomaster, or even the new ARB's. as far as not fitting in the JKU. there is a reason to buy...
built like a tank. low power draw. capable of fast cooling and lo power cooling. a true freezer. keeps things cold longer (better insulation). built like a tank. yeah I said that twice. also comes with a bag standard.. not an extra charge... and a remote. thought the remote was a...
This is what you call 'full retard'. yes its mine.. yes I went nuts. built 6.0 ver 1000hp capable on twins.. currently running a stage 5 powermac variable vane turbo. I've been trying to sell it for about 2 years. built if for the ex... and... well.... ex.. get it? way over 140k in it...
we're building prototypes now for turn key purchase. I posted a thread in the full size area. not quite read to pull the trigger and do the sponsor / whatever to start advertising but if you want to send me a message I am more than happy to share the info I have and tell you what we are doing...
we need to get together to plan a few trips. my USA vehicle is the ford. my overseas looks like it will be the series 100 land cruiser. I am also in Dallas. Frisco to be exact.
I have a 99 land cruiser and a 2018 ford f250 diesel. every asks why did I overland the ford? When evaluating the 'rig' mileage and payload are considerations. I didn't want to 'upgrade' to the 200 series land cruiser, and at 10 mpg the 99 on mud tires wasn't viable for anything really cross...
