I have been running the General AT2 on the 04 GC Overland with much success. I cannot believe the offroad traction. They do well in the Florida Muck . I have about 10K on them and very little wear.
I run on the BFG KM2 and they are great offroad. On road they are terrible. In the rain they have...
Take a look at 4Xoverland.com. Andrew St Pierre has a good video on this. In the end it will come down to a few things. I am going with a nice Tent and not a RTT. I am doing this because I like the freedom to leave camp and come back to a campsite. I think I am going with the CINCH 4 man pop up...
The drone is about the same as stock. That is why I went with it. I love the sound but of a loud exhaust as long as I do not have to drive it for HOURS.....This may help. One note if you get on it, you will notice a difference over stock. At Cruise it is about the same as stock.
I am wrong!! Unfortunate for you. So many folks say they have death wobble and they don't. If you have to clean your shorts after an episode then you had death wobble
Just brough an 04 Overland back to life with my girls. This was a great daddy Daughter job. It turned out to be a perfect trail truck. I went through everything underneath and a total tune up. I still have front seats, heater core, and the HVAC vents to take care of but it just drove for 17...
Beautiful area. I love Tenn. You have some great areas around you to explore. I cannot remember a single one but It was beautiful when I did it years ago.
I was up in citrus on Friday and it was a mess. I would suggest a chain saw and some boots. REALLY WET. More wet than usual. My buddy up in Jax said the river is going down but still very high. Be careful!
Search KOLAK Exhaust for WJ. He does a nice job in putting together a FlowMaster 70 for you. I just did this about 3 months ago. Nice sound to it but barely noticeable at cruise.
You have what I have with my KM2's, Cupping and bad wear patterns. Death wobble is pretty scary when it hits you. I was a passenger and we hit some RR tracks. I thought for sure we hit something and then I saw the steering wheel going bazerk. It will wake you up for sure.
You guys have a good thread going. I have been following Andrew St Pierre White for quite sometime. (Read his books watched his Youtube 4Xoverland channel etc) He has put Africa on my bucket list.
Ronny Dahl is up there as well
Installed on the 04 Grand Cherokee Overland, Rigid Fog Lights using the 4x4 Fabworks brackets. This is my girls trail truck build. I think I may want to do one for me... I had to disconnect the OEM fogs because they rubbed on the 32 inch tires. Great upgrade. It is amazing how much more...
5 gallon Wavian Jerry Fuel Can with RockHard 4x4 holder for my Tire carrier. Thanks IRMA !! What I want to get are some new tires. The old BFG's KM2 are scary in the wet!! General X3 are front runners right now
