Mounting a gun case on a molle panel?

Hello All,
I would like to travel with a long gun when overlanding. Does anyone have any ideas for mounting a soft case or hard case to a truck bed molle panel? Please inlcude photos of you have them! Or any other solutions that would provide relatively quick access, protect the firearm, and provide legal transport. Thanks

Have you looked at ROK Straps? You could run the strap around or through the molle panel and the center elastic portion will hold the case in place. This might work well, especially for a soft case. Giant Loop also sells some Pronghorn straps.
