Ocala, Salt Springs October 6 - 8

Well the camp ground is open but the fort gates ferry is closed and will be for a few months. The landings are both washed away and the barge is half sunk. Salt Springs campground is open so I will be there.

I was almost in and then my wife scheduled me. I would be interested in some winter trips in the near future.

It happens. Let's definitely try and get some winter trips in. Hopefully we have a winter this year.

Well less than 24hrs to go and we are all clear to go. Forest is mostly open as is the camp ground. Forcast for the storm shows it much further west so it's looking good.

Trip went almost perfect till Mike's water pump sprung a leak. Just got home and can't wait to get back to the forest. So many trails.

There’s a group on Facebook called “Florida Overlanding, Camping, Off-Roading”.

We’re going up to to the Citrus WMA this weekend. Some are camping at the Holder Mine Campground Saturday night. There is a ride that night. We are going up for Sunday at 9am. Meeting at W Stage Coach Drive and Trail 13. 28.702363, -82.41891
