I have been doing some hiking also. Much more appealing as I have gotten older. Not worrying as much as to where I can get to but rather where I am.

Went and checked on some dispersed campsites. Still closed. May 8th is our new reopening date. Got pushed further out from April 30th.

The trail from the parking lot is Dawn Trail. As you go up it you cone to Dawn Point and realize the idea of the trail.

Of course you can never get away from the State flower.

I got out to Moshannon State Forest yesterday. Some fresh snow and lots of outdoor recreation going on. No dispersed camping though
