Hello! It has been a while since I posted. I am just getting my interior finished on my Troopy and want to go on a shake-down trip next weekend. I live in Central NC. Anybody know if there are any trails open or passable in Western NC after the storm?

Thanks!
John

Once you turn off of hwy 19, most of the roads here could be classified as a moderate 6 to difficult.

Not sure about the trails in this area, but I would try south of hwy 40. The areas here above 40 to tennessee are still in search and recovery mode.

A lot of it is still a bit of a mess. Even some of the main roads are one-lane in some areas. I didn't try any back roads while I was up there, but I would assume if there aren't houses on it with people who need to be extracted, they haven't had time to worry about getting them cleared.

Just a Longshot, Does anyone know the status of Hurricane Creek? I know it had been graded in some spots before the storm, but haven't heard anything since.
