Since you are starting from scratch, think about adding a Webasto type heater for the CEO. It will make your life a ton easier. If you are interested, I can show you where you can get one for less than $200. It is really nice just setting the thermostat.

Southern Utah offers some nice offroad options, but remember, even though it is desert, it snow there and can get nasty. The Southern Utah Traverse is a neat set of trails, but can get slightly technical. You will be a hundred miles from anywhere and on your own, be careful.

My rig is designed that it will not bind, no matter how tight I turn. The trailer can actually go more than 90 degrees to the vehicle, so if necessary, I can actually back up a bit, turning even tighter, without worrying about binding the tongue.
