Having a problem deleting waypoints.. Also the folder still shows, but the route is gone. So far I've: Opened the folders section and un sync'ed it. Opened the waypoints and un sync'ed them. Tried deleting first from the folders section, then from the file itself, and now from the waypoints.. No...

Out of Yuma AZ going east

Well, I have jumped to the other side of Tucson and getting a bit overwhelmed... Have a look at this proposed route and let me know any thoughts on it. Seems I'm gaining some elevation in areas through here and not really much for dirt routes, that I can find...

Out of Yuma AZ going east

Looking a lot like running Rt85 to Organ Pipe. The area looks like something not to be passed up.. so be it. I may still try while down there and work a route, but I have a feeling Rt85 may be it. What can you tell me of Organ Pipe Catus NM ? I see two scenic routes down there and two CG's. I...

Run planned for this summer. Saint Stephan to Hopewell Rocks.

I stayed at two commercial CG's on the east coast & north shore, then boondocks a bit west side and south shore. Seal Cove on the east side, just up from the ferry terminal, was a great start. Also Bayside CG on the Northshore. iOverlander does a pretty good job on showing commercial and free...

Out of Yuma AZ going east

I learned I can drive through the Yuma Proving Grounds at least along the AZPT. Now I'm hoping to learn if I can do the same on the Barry Goldwater Range. Hoping to dirt road Yuma to Organ Pipe.

    AZ Peace Trail Question

Just had a response from AZPT.org. They confirmed what I was told. I can only confirm the road on the AZPT, no others! This opens up the route I hoped for traveling Quartzite to Joshua Tree by dirt! WHOA! Estimating 140 miles and 2400 ft elevation changes.

    NH Foliage 2020

Ya, colors went quick this year! My area (Auburn, NH) was brilliant for a week. We're losing leaves like crazy now, still some color, yet that beautiful brilliance is past! If you caught, it was awesome this year! Found some very unique spots this year for following years foliage runs!

    AZ Peace Trail Question

I'm researching the trail as a possible route Quartzite to Yuma. Issue I see is the route passes through the Yuma Proving Grounds twice. Has anyone run this? Do you require permission to run those portions?

    Snowbirds here?

I have a couple areas I'd like to know if anyone familiar with AZ/CA border. First one runs between Quartzite and Joshua Tree NP The next one is an area of interest as we travel south towards Yuma. Of those that have wheeled through here.. CA side or AZ side gong south?

    Snowbirds here?

Was just researching a bit and kinda like this Chiricahua Wilderness area! Anyone familiar? Did find a YT video of folks going during winter season.. I also joined a group called RVillage . It's a site built around traveling and hooking up with others doing the same in the time frame you are...

    Overlanding in New England

I'm not going to promote my YT site, but then again... I have a couple routes up in the discussion page as .gpx files of my foliage runs. I'm not one for busting up my truck, I do love a good Byway, especially if it's dirt, even better if it's a logging road and the passable Class 6. Site link...

    Snowbirds here?

We're going to do a couple months in the Southwest this Jan/Feb and see if we like idea. To be honest warmth instead of cold is what I'm all about for a couple months! I researched the web looking for a site/forum that may have others like minded to hook up travel together. Then light dawned on...

Who else brings a grill?-1 cooking device to rule them all!

I looked all over and read so many reviews both buying. Almost bought the Q, but my nephew dis-liked his so much, hmm.. I looked hard at the Coleman dual BBQ/burner, but the reviews of melt-downs drove me away, hmm.. I ended up with the Camp-chef Rainier. So far, so good! Packs up nice, sets up...

    Propane Tank Sizes

I'm still using the 1lb.. Just haven't worked out a good system yet for a larger tank, and so far it's been working out pretty well. I carry 3 and last almost a week apiece. We do make coffee on the butane single burner and that lasts a few weeks, but that's all we use it for. This year, with...
