Looking to explore the Atlanta Section of Canada.

My family (both sides) are from the Avalon area. Was up there 3 years back researching and locating family lands. Loved it! Debate we're having is whether or not to do the Trans Labrador on the way up (NS back). Have any advise or experience of the TL? Been researching it.

    Maybe a snowbird this winter..

I'm researching and have been in the general area before, but this time would like to get in around the Arizona/Nevada region for at least a month this winter. I'm thinking mid Jan to mid late Feb. Renting out there seems quite high priced and I'm also researching possibly buying something I...

Looking for overlook/mountain site for overlanding/camping

I see you edited the message a bit! Good. I've run the Maine Sur to Canada and found little 'legal' dispersed camping. Did find a few commercial though, mostly we overnighted at Chez Walmart. Inward Maine heading towards NH there are a multitude of back/dirt country roads. Same as you enter in...

    Little buddy heater??

Let's not get testy here. I asked for opinions of the product from those that own and use. The balance of the other comments do not pertain. I'm happy to research a link provided, but opinions of dangers (lacking fact) again, do not pertain to the discussion. Really.. this is where it's going?

    Little buddy heater??

Considerable is by the eye of the beholder I guess.. 100,000 btuh produces .98 gallons of water per hour. Bring that down to using a 3800 btu heater for a 1/2hr.. Produces some yes. Considerable? Roughly < .02 of a gallon produced for the 1/2hr ( you produce .4 a gallon an hour breathing). And...

    Little buddy heater??

Rusty, I may be heading out your direct on Wed/Thurs for some color! It's time now for east/west runs to see foliage! I think we'll try Pillsbury SP again for a quick overnight (and a test of the Little Buddy heater).

    Little buddy heater??

Some great responses here folks! Thank you! I see most of you understood the time length I hoped for and the Cubic feet I'm trying to warm up in the 'cabin' of the overlander. Looks like I will purchase the Little Guy.

    Little buddy heater??

Hey guys, I do appreciate the warnings, but please read what I said.. I only use heat for about a 1/2hr in the morning. Very curious still if anyone actually has used the Little Buddy heater.

    Little buddy heater??

Figure that toasts you out.. The Little Buddy is only 3800 Btu's..

    Little buddy heater??

Little Buddy you use? Do you see the tank lasting as long as they state? How many cubic feet you heat & how quickly? You insulated?

    Little buddy heater??

We're in the extended season here in NH. Getting much colder in the mornings! I'm seriously debating one of those 'Little Buddy' heaters to take the chill off in the morning. 3800 BTU seems about right to get the temp up fairly quickly in my 330 cubic foot cabin space. Or it seems like it...

Sharing GPX Files, Routes, and Specific Locations

This 'Crew' feature is app based or online (PC) as well?

Sharing GPX Files, Routes, and Specific Locations

I actually have had that conversation. Thought more of it being building a crew of sorts. It was stated as maybe, somewhere down the line due to other more pressing ideas to implement. Maybe you backing this idea and others chiming in might move it up the list of importance..

Sharing GPX Files, Routes, and Specific Locations

On the extent of sharing routes/tracks. I'm on the fence about this. There are folks out there profiting from your effort of creating these routes/tracks and yes some are in this group. I have nearly all the class 6 and dirt roads of NH on my Gaia program. I am logging the tracks on my Dropbox...
