Welcome Mike! My dad has a Titan, and it seems like a hell of a truck in my limited experience driving it. Kept up with my Silverado for what we were doing, but rode a hell of a lot better.
I've never seen one of those, but man is that thing cool! Congrats on the new rig day, and welcome to the forum. I can't wait to see some pics and stories about that rig.
Nope, just my name. I mean the movie is decent and all. My last name is Ripley. I’ll take the Aliens reference over hearing believe it or not for the billionth time though!
I’ve been toying with the idea of getting into video production again, or at the very least making some vids for my family to watch in the future. I used to do some production at my last job, but the gear and budget was quite a bit different than what I can go for at the moment.
What are some...
It’s amazing the uses you find for things if you have them. It’s also why I have so much crap clipped on my belt! People give me crap, until they need something.
When I can find it. Surplus stuff is getting harder to come by in my area. There are deals to be had for sure, but some of the stuff is crazy expensive too.
Welcome, nice looking 4runner. That exact color and style have been taunting me lately. Still way out of my budget, but man I love em. Haven't spent a ton of time in Tennessee, but what I have I enjoyed a lot.
I just ordered a 20" bar from MTN ROO, not sure where I'm mounting it yet. Maybe in the bumper below the front plate, but I might suck it up and get an SSD bar for the front. I dig the bar, just think I can probably build one for a few bucks so I'm being cheap.
1988 Jayco. Don't remember the model. Maybe it's 3300? Some ridiculousness. It's way bigger than we ever wanted, but it was a steal, and we knew the people selling it a bit. One of those can't pass deals. It's longer than my truck closed up.
I hear ya, and it's something we've talked about. Now if I can find something that will haul all my sound gear, and get 20+ MPG on the regular, I'd gladly swap the Rav and Chevy for it, but so far that's a bit of a unicorn. As far as the rusty truck, it's just body stuff. The mechanicals and...
Firing the first shots out of his new 10/22. Second pic of him working on the truck when he changed one spark plug on my silverado by himself. He also helps with brake jobs about once a month in summer. He’s 7 in those shots, 8 now.
Love the Raptors, I'm sure that will be a lot of fun overlanding. Welcome to the forum!
I'm also a huge fan of small businesses, as are many on this forum. Can I ask what your business is? I manage an independent music store in WI, so I try to support small companies as much as I can.
Love seeing more Subies! We have a 2010 Outback that is my wife's daily. I'm also a musician (guitar and upright bass mostly), sound tech, and guitar tech. Though with the family I don't stray too far from home for too long anymore. I run a music store in Sheboygan, WI if you're ever up this...
@Quicksilver I'll have to scope that out. AG said they have the release calendar out to June and no 226 coming that they know of. I'll have to see if I can make something work with the dock.
