    bbq?

How many of you bring a bbq? Even a mini one. I currently do but feel it could be left home. Unless we have a fire ban on. Just curious if anyone else does too. Feel free to vote and/or comment.

    4Runner - Dual/Single battery

Seems single is too sketchy, especially with a fridge. I'd bring a booster pack all the time, just in case. Then you might as well just wire a 2nd battery since you are basically carrying one anyway, just in booster form. Or run the fridge from the pack.

The 4 wheel drive association of bc just announced last night they are part of a partnership to maintain part of the Alexander McKenzie Heritage Trail. The trail is pretty epic and overland expedition did a few episodes on their adventures on it. This was part of the route alexander used to do...

    4Runner - Dual/Single battery

I think some timez its better to keep the batteries seperate for starting and use jumper cables. Less likely to blow fuses or relays. I have 2 batteries with 100amp fuses seperating them and a 600amp continuous rated solenoid. A start with the batteries connected would probably blow something.

    view ranger and brmb.

If you are looking for a way to navigate, heres another option that works well for canadians. The free viewranger app has added easy links to backroad mapbook basemaps. Not bad price either.

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Maybe a bit, but its 1 out of 12 bolts and i barely ever put anything up there. I can and will move it to a roof gromet if it ever causes an issue. Seems many others have rocked this without a prkblem. Some even with rtts.

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

I've had 7" light bars mounted on my roofrack for a while now. 1 on each side and 1 over the rear door. Today they finally got wired up. Used the ol' through the roofrack bolt hole trick and a liberal application of silicone. The wires from the front meet the wires from outside under a...

Simply Drawerless Drawer System with Slide-Out table from 1 sheet of Plywood

If the weather holds, this is my next project. I love the simplicity of the dliding system. I think i will let the edges rest on the wheelwell and put 1 vertical piece down the middle, and do the split table design. Great post.

    Weight issue with aftermarket bumper?

I was going to stick with my stock bumper, but judging by the amount of trail damage its getting, a more armour and less plastic bumper is necessary. Will buy one and consider adding anither 90 pound winch later. It might sag a bit, but i have medium springs already, so hopefully not too much...
