For sure some double din decks run android and have a basic gps built in. Cheap ones on ebay for $100. Choose an andoid nav app you like and away you go.
How many of you bring a bbq? Even a mini one. I currently do but feel it could be left home. Unless we have a fire ban on. Just curious if anyone else does too. Feel free to vote and/or comment.
Seems single is too sketchy, especially with a fridge. I'd bring a booster pack all the time, just in case. Then you might as well just wire a 2nd battery since you are basically carrying one anyway, just in booster form. Or run the fridge from the pack.
The 4 wheel drive association of bc just announced last night they are part of a partnership to maintain part of the Alexander McKenzie Heritage Trail. The trail is pretty epic and overland expedition did a few episodes on their adventures on it.
This was part of the route alexander used to do...
I think some timez its better to keep the batteries seperate for starting and use jumper cables. Less likely to blow fuses or relays. I have 2 batteries with 100amp fuses seperating them and a 600amp continuous rated solenoid. A start with the batteries connected would probably blow something.

Used the ol' through the roofrack bolt hole trick and a liberal application of silicone.
The wires from the front meet the wires from outside under a...
If the weather holds, this is my next project. I love the simplicity of the dliding system. I think i will let the edges rest on the wheelwell and put 1 vertical piece down the middle, and do the split table design. Great post.
My friends all bring speakers. They know i dont dig the musuc in the bush. Once its all dark and dinner is done, the music gets turned off. Everyone gets thier time as dj. Then i get to turn it off.
Disclaimer... In no way do i work for these guys and i recieve nothing for posting this.
A bc adventure company has 12L rotopax style fuel cans on sale right now for under $60...
I was going to stick with my stock bumper, but judging by the amount of trail damage its getting, a more armour and less plastic bumper is necessary. Will buy one and consider adding anither 90 pound winch later. It might sag a bit, but i have medium springs already, so hopefully not too much...
