when i lived in edmonton we used to visit the nordegg area very often. the hostel there is very sweet. never had a 4x4 back then, but did a lot of hiking. i'd love to go back with my truck now.
Some stuff always comes with me. Makes sense to keep it handy. Mollie racks are cool but dont fit my budget of "close to free". Hence the DIY. I used quick fists for the axe, saw, and the small upper mount that frequently carries a fishing rod or flashlight, but now holds my snow...
Actually i work in the industry as well. If i could make a perfect bike it would have the power of tbe yamaha, the support of the bosch and the smooth quiet of the brose. Currently riding a yamaha rebel and brose from emotion, but i just pretty much ride whatever from the shop. Its such a...
Never seen such a thing. Might save gas by keeping the flaps off if they have any significat weight. 2% on a stock yaris might turn into .5% on a lifted and built up subaru.
Mine came powder coated. Now sporting some black rattle can touch ups. Would saved a few bucks and just painted them. Thats the plan when the bumper arrives.

I have some rosignol ot 65. They have partial metal edges and are just narrow enough to fit in groomed tracks but wide enough for extra float in the backcountry. Nnnbc bindings. Good setup. Id go wider next time since i almost never use groomed trails.
I feel the same. I spend some time making maps and collecting tracks. I do share, but selectively. some of it represents a lot of hours or, like you said, shows where some of my favourite places are. even avoiding mentioning names of places in blogs. i'll take people i think are cool there...
