Hi Daniel, I believe we spoke at NWOR. Welcome to the forums and to Overland Bound. I am curious what the previous owners did with the Jeep, as a Rubicon is pretty capable from the factory. Anyway... I recommend checking out the NorthWest Region forums [link] for more area specific...
No rest here, once again I am excited to announce the addition of another new Member Representative, @Gabriel Bozeman. Gabriel is already working to activate and unify the members in the Northwest Washington area and I am extremely thankful to him for all the work he has already done.
Please...
If anyone feels that Overland Bound is exclusionary, cliquish, or make/model specific, they need to reorient themselves to Overland Bound. Like @4wheelspulling said, it states clearly that "it doesn't matter what you drive". That is at the core of Overland Bound. Take a look at the Rally...
Hello @capp28 and welcome to Overland Bound. Unfortunately, the overlanding bug is impossible to resist in the long run... after all "Adventure is Necessary". The good news is that you don't have to spend a million on an Earthroamer to get out there. It doesn't matter what you drive, it just...
I am excited to announce the addition of another new Member Representative, @4wheelspulling. Vance has already worked very hard to unify the members in their areas and I am extremely thankful to them for all the work they have put into fostering a strong and active community.

Hey TRD_Phantom and welcome to Overland Bound! Thank you for checking us out at Northwest Overland Rally and for joining us here. This is a great group of people and an awesome resource for anyone interested in getting out there and fulfilling our most basic need for adventure. There are a...
Welcome to Overland Bound Adam. Your story is similar to many who have joined Overland Bound, looking for a way to further their enjoyment of nature. The great news is that there are a number of places to explore in Washington and the PNW. I recommend starting out by checking into the...
Well, we are back home safe and I gotta say that we really enjoyed being able to represent Overland Bound at NWOR and meet so many incredible people. I will admit that there was some frustration with not having enough space for all of the Overland Bound members to camp together, but that...
Hello and welcome to Overland Bound @ICDGary713. You can't go wrong with a XTerra or a JKU for overlanding... both have decent space and can go lots of places. Not to knock the TJ, they just have limited storage capabilities. Anyway, there are a number of great overlanding events occurring...
If you go with the Rugged Ridge Dash Organizer you can leave out the center tray. This will allow you to have a bar across the front to mount any RAM, 67 Designs, or similar mount to the bar. No need to replace the aftermarket center piece (unless you hate it and want it gone.)
I use the Rugged Ridge Dash Organizer [link] with RAM X-Grip phone mounts [link] for my phone and my wife's phone, it works perfectly and is solid as can be. Similar to the Rugged Ridge product is the Vector OffRoad JKE-Dock [link]. Similar to the RAM products are the 67 Designs mounts [link].
The rally is so close, I would just wait. Who knows, maybe you will win one in a raffle. Seriously though, sales come and go all the time. The discounts offered through shows are usually much better than any sale as they are for a targeted market.
