    Hello from Southern Idaho

Welcome to Overland Bound, @barnstormers. Keeping it simple is the best way of doing it. The overlanding market is overflowing with products to spend money on... but at the end of the day all you need is something that will get you out of the house and into the adventure. The great news is...

Hiya @BigBearJoe and welcome to Overland Bound! I'm sorry to hear that an injury has limited your ability to enjoy the outdoors like you once did, but I am also impressed by the resilience you show by still wanting to find a way to get out and adventure, even if it is only day trips. I hope...

Welcome to Overland Bound Matt (@mdub). It's great to see another member from Whatcom County. I work in Bellingham and am in and around the city quite a bit. I have found that this is a great location to start an adventure since we can go just about any direction and find something off the...

Welcome, Pete (@Eustonpete), to Overland Bound. It's hard to live in the PNW and not be acquainted with outdoors, isn't it? There are a number of members in and around Seattle and Tacoma, so finding people to meet up with shouldn't be tough. I see that you already made it over to the...

Welcome to Overland Bound @Jeremiah Johnson! Thank you for your service. It's not too often that I come across people from Dallas, but a co-worker and good friend of mine is actually from there. That is a fantastic area with lots of access to fun outdoor adventures. There is a lot going on...

Welcome, @Barclaynathan, to Overland Bound! You're in a great location for overlanding, with lots to do no matter what direction you travel. Plus, there are a large number of Overland Bound members in your area, so hopefully as spring sets in there will be some fun meetups and adventures...

    Oddball overlanding rigs!

If you are not familiar with the Gambler 500, I highly recommend checking it out. Some of the most insane off road builds you will ever find... although I am not too sure if they would work to well for overlanding.

HIya Marc (@WANDERING STAR Overland) and welcome to Overland Bound. That is one nice looking Taco. I'd love to hear about what you have done to it to get it ready to get into trouble and get back. This is a great area (the PNW) for enjoying the outdoors and getting to know other overlanders...

Welcome to Overland Bound James (@JBADwolf)! Whidbey Island is a great place home base with lots of access to great adventure. I know there are a few members in your area that are itching to hit the dirt road, so I recommend heading over to the NorthWest Region forum [link] to find out what is...

    "Business/Info" Cards

Depending on the meetup/event, all of the above may be available. The Region Directors and their Member Reps usually will have flags, banners, promotional materials, and stickers to give out at events. I recommend reaching out to your Region Director, @Mike W, for assistance.

Welcome to Overland Bound Trevor (@Tonkazuk). I love hearing parents that want to instill their love for the outdoors into their children. That is how my father got me hooked many years ago. Figuring out what to do with your rig can be a slippery slope, if you let it. In truth, to go out and...

Distance between home and the start of a trail

For me, 45 minutes will get me to the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, with tons of opportunities from there.

Looks like fun. Well... except climbing in the rain. That adds a level of challenge.

    Portland Area

Welcome to Overland Bound, @Llk. The Portland/Vancouver area has a lot of great members, so I am sure someone like @Terry Pickens will be around to offer up some advice. If your little one will tolerate a little bit of a drive, @Roy & Kristin Zirpoli are always active planning events down in...
