I found it again! Haha I'm sorry. I've been reaching out to a lot of build threads for any wisdom I can get. I got confused

Really like this idea! I'd love to try this with just what I have laying about. How many attachment points do you have to your rack? I've seen those gear ties before. Do you just have on on each corner?
I was able to get the radio to work. Now everything is awesome!

I'd have to agree. Go on Amazon or even Ebay and take your pick from the 20 some inch light bars. They seem like good quality for the money. It will be the route I will eventually take.

I have the Quadra Tec II system in mine. I think it'll be OK.
Sorry I forget to check replies in Tapatalk. I was notified my lift just got delivered today. I went with an Iron Rock Offroad 3" lift and I ordered a new set of spring isolators from Rock Auto. I figured if I was taking it apart...
I paid around $350 and that's because I got a little break for going and getting them from their facility. So to ship them they'd be more. But I was looking at much hired priced ones so it seemed like a deal to me.

You know I've heard of that stuff but I've never had a chance to mess with it. Where can a person get it? My plan was to clean the areas, break off the brittle bits, wire brush the area some, then hit it with at least Rustoleum or maybe something like POR if I get really super serious. I have no...
Howdy, not familiar with them. For the price the Rock Hards are awesome. Super rugged and I can deal with their foibles. I dunno if I'll ever use them to their fullest potential but I'm glad I have the protection.

Thanks man! I love the look of the XJ. Rugged and classic. I wanted one but couldn't find a good one for the price. But I test drove this guy and it's comfort and V8 won me over!

Finally got pictures of my Rock Hard 4x4 rock rails. They are robust and freaking awesome except for the mount plates that bolt to the pinch seam. If you can see from the picture I didn't have the material to drill a couple of the holes. I am going to contact them with the pictures sometime to...
I had no idea the Ranger was coming back. Yours like epic! And you have some fantastic country down there [emoji106]that sunset picture is particularly beautiful

I actually didn't have any running lights but my brake lights worked. Figured out the sockets were in backwards and flexed the tabs out more [emoji106]

Thanks brotha I'm going to check them out! I gotta make some like yours so I can take them off when I'm mall crawling!
Absolutely. I may drive just a WJ and there are so many other kinds of vehicles but that doesn't matter. The diversity makes this forum so cool. I am a creative person that...
Dude love your rig! I just bought a WJ and have started into it. I love frugal builds and uncommon rigs (at least I haven't seen many Troopers in my short life). I will be checking in and reading your build!
Could I ask you one thing? What are the limb risers for? I've seen them and like yours...
Took a drive today to Rock Hard 4x4. I was stoked when I realized it was just a couple hours from where I live. Met some nice folks and picked up my rock rails along with a license plate light mount. I also got my transfer case skid plate in the mail, my Rola Rack which I installed, and my new...
Did you switch shocks? I'm only asking because some people stick with 3" with new springs and shocks and say the ride goes downhill. But if you really like the ride that's good to know. My research lead me to conclude I would need a 4" lift to run a 32 (255/75-17 off a JK) but maybe I don't need...
I've always been a bit leery of RC from a quality standpoint. I figure the hardware is good but that's about it. Are you happy with a conservative lift and the 245/70/16? I bought mine with 245/75r16 on stock suspension and it doesn't rub in normal driving.

Really like your WJ! Those new seats really spruced up the interior a lot. Do you know what lift was on it? I'm trying to decide what lift I want to do. I'm trying to decide if I really need a 4" very complete kit or just a more budget minded kit.
