    Another Full size Chevy

Yeah it ended up taking me that long too... I was kind of disgusted with myself it took so long but I guess it's just the nature of the beast. I'm really torn on the shocks. I want Bilstein's... On another forum I read "buy once, whine once".... Thanks for checking out my posts [emoji106] Sent...

    Another Full size Chevy

Did a little tune up today. Got a set of plugs, wires, new MAF sensor, and air filter. Didn't get any more pictures because I ran into a few issues and was pushing to get done before the sun set (that's what I get for wrenching in the Walmart parking lot). It's a little tough putting plugs into...

    N-Fab side steps feedback?

Can't say much on if they function well or how stout they are but they look good. Do you have a welding/fabrication shop near you? If the options are slim a good fab shop could probably build you some hell for stout sliders. They may even be able to powder coat them. Sent from my SM-J320V...

    2003 Chevy 2500 Suburban - overland build

Man it's pretty up there! Thank you for the full report. That's not surprising to me. I'm not doing much better. On a long road trip when I head to western Nebraska I think the best I did was 13.8mpg... That's on 265/75r16 with my knock sensors out of wack. Really hoping to see some improvement...

    My little Suzuki

Sounds like a great little rig! It sort of reminds me of the jeep liberty that Chrysler used to make. Diesel would have been great! I wish we had more diesel options in the US. I hope it continues to be a great trail rig. Sent from my SM-J320V using Tapatalk

    My "low key" overland pig

Dude that's awesome! That's the real deal there. It's not some crazy show truck it gets out in the dirt. Tequila and all! Did you bother changing your suspension at all? That's the biggest thing I'm struggling with. Is the topper the way to go? I was never planning on a topper myself because I...

Love your little Suzuki! And I must say you have some beautiful scenery there! I'm not familiar with you little rig though. Could you give us Americans some specifics on it? Model, engine and whatnot. I don't think they released one here in the US. Happy trails and good work so far! Sent from...

    2003 Chevy 2500 Suburban - overland build

Really enjoyed reading your thread! I like how you are approaching your build up. I know my front end needs work on my old pickup. I'm mainly focusing on trying to get my engine tuned up and the sebsors sorted out but I will need to address the front sooner or later. Was replacing your ball...

    Another Full size Chevy

Just installed a Penda liner today! I work for an auto parts supplier so I got it for a great deal. My bed was so beat up I'm just glad it looks better. I know it limits me from installing a topper but that hasn't really been my plan. Things could always change but I have a pretty nice big tent...

Great looking Suburban! That's a rare one. Don't see many 6.0's Can I search "Cognito UCA" and find the kit you're running? I'm intrigued! I'll check out your build thread later today. Thanks man! Sent from my SM-J320V using Tapatalk

    Another Full size Chevy

Thank you for the advice. That could be part of why mine is riding rough now, but mostly my guess is the suspension has 175k on it haha. With my keys turned up now, the CV's don't look too angled but I wouldn't want to damage anything. What all did the 4" Rancho lift include? Sent from my...

BOB aka Bug Out Bag, Who Carries One ?

The only crazy ones are those who aren't prepared. I carry some extra gear with me too. It's kind of changing as I get ideas as to how to best utilize the small space. But generally I have phone charger cords, a power bank, paracord, little roll of gorilla tape, water bottle, small basic...

    Ron's 1999 jeep cherokee build

Oh sweet! I was looking at some cheapies on Amazon. The pipe dream is to have at least front aux lights on my truck before I head on a camping trip in September. What are you working on for your XJ now? Sent from my SM-J320V using Tapatalk
