Hi There,

Bought a knackered old 2003 Discovery 2 with about 92,000 miles on the clock and some prerequisite oil leaks!

Anyway, I have a YouTube Channel hosting videos on the build amongst other stuff.

I need some more posts before I can link to the channel.

Items done to date are:

Purchased
Safety Passed (whew!)

Removed really rusty side steps.
Removed factory front short bar with original spots (retaining the spots).
Got new muffler installed.
Cleaned, cleaned, cleaned.
Changed Fluids - Engine Oil, Diffs, Transfer Case, Transmission, Coolant (inc Thermostat)
Repaired and bypass High/Low transfer case switch to allow HDC.
Removed and installed new aftermarket AC cooling fan.
Installed Glow Shift Pressure Gauge. (pressure actually seems good.
Will tackle ABS Shuttle Valve wiring bypass to remove short.

Looking to buy 31.6" BF goodrich tires and maybe 16 "steel wheels bot sure about keeping 18"rs.

Will determine if 2" lift is necessary.

03 does not have CDL, so Three Amigos must be gone. Looking into conversion kit.

Oil everywhere as usual. Looking to remove top end. DOwn to Valley gasket as least, hoping heads are OK.

Money is an issue! lol.

Good luck with the build. The abs thing is easy. I can link a good write-up if needed. I would definitely recommend adding the CDL, I have found the TC alone isn't totally sufficient especially with bigger tires. I also I have a decent write-up on that. And I know this has been beaten to death but change the UJs on that front driveshaft if they haven't been already. Also, just my opinion but I would lift it at least 2".

I don't know much about them but I love how they look! I'll try to find your YouTube channel [emoji106]
