Currently my trailer is on jack stands, getting an axle upgrade. Swapping a 2k axle for a 3.5k brake axle. Photo is what it should look like and close to the height. Picking up axle Friday.

I’m 6’2” and still have trouble reach on top of the trailer at stock ride height, after the 35” are on I’d never be able to do. Exo sliders are going to super handy, and wife vertically challenged wife will get a lot of use out of them also.

Also when a do this it will probably lead to a complete rewire of the current setup with more switches at the trailer, because I’ve got more stuff I want to do.
Homemade switch board with relays!
Those little KC lights put out a TON of light, especially in the backwoods of the Cherokee National Forest.
Tent is 6ft, switch will be a the opposite end from the trailer control panel, so 8ft probably, 10ft max.
I truly appreciate all the time you are putting into helping me with this. I’ll...
Still got several things to complete. I have 2 sets of drawers slides for a pull out kitchen area. Then once the axle is swapped out, I plan to build an exoskeleton around the bottom.
Overland Vehicle Systems 270 awning installed
First Picture is last weekend, getting ready to drop the 2000lb axle, and install a 3500lb brake axle. This picture is what the trailer will look like afterwards.
Just waiting on axle to arrive.
