So close but so far away. Yo guys were literally minutes away from my home in Nybro, Småland. Excellent trip and pictures, let us know if your ever back this way.

I recently bought a dual battery split charge system for my Land Rover. http://simplysplitcharge.co.uk/shop/viewitem.cgi?SCK303C
With room tight in and under my landy I've bought a replacement dual battery holder (panel) to fit in place of the original single battery holder that sits under the...
We were in northern Finland 2 years ago, unfortunately there wasn't much to see other than forest and some more forest. When were there though we did go to the 3 country boarders south of Kirkenes, which was a nice 5km hike.
I look forward to reading other posts, maybe there is more to see in...
I use a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1" (2016) LTE which has an extra phone card in it. Since I have a 1980 Land Rover that has no modern conveniences I simply have the screen in the center that works just right for me and the wife.

Being so short and loaded with camping gear the ride does get choppy, therefore I installed a set of Air Lift 1000 air bags which helped with the load carrying but also the ride quality.
I realize that this WB is very short to today's norm, but it did teach us to...
We were going to book but it's the same weekend as Midsommar here in Sweden. The entire family usually gets together this weekend, but we will seriously consider it for next year.

This past weekend there was an overlanding meet organized by "overlanding.nu" in western Sweden. 18 vehicles of various makes and sizes gathered in Charlottenberg with approx 40 pers. Of those 40 pers, 3 are OB members (thorstein, nils and myself)
From the get go, there was a lot of km's...
An app that seems to be directed towards the Land Rover community in Europe is "LR Freecamp". I'm sure if your travelling by yourself or in a very small group, you'll be successful with the users and locations found in the app.

I think that this little clip that I put together from my cell phone should explain a bit more:
As you can see the trails that we drive your not able to have the rtt or the awning on, you'll simply tear them off or seriously damage them in no time. The airbags the same, punctures in no time...
