Wouter, I see that your heading towards Jönkoping after the funeral, if you took E22 along the east coast I'd suggest driving the coastal road north of Bornholm on Öland. I can give you an area at the top of Ölnad where you can camp over night before heading back to the mainland.

Here is another Land Rover, my 1980 Series 3 88" with a 300tdi powering it. For 2 people we have it kitted out so that we never go without but not carrying unnecessary stuff. Several trips into northern Sweden are already planned for this summer plus our yearly trip to Norway.

The private roads are normally blocked with a boom which is locked. You do have public right of way on most roads though. A rule of thumb when venturing out of the norm, do not leave a travelled track. Todd.
