Yes it's allowed but it's very restrictive, basically there are public forests throughout Denmark where you can park and sleep in a tent. You need a special map to find the camping areas as they are few and far apart. Up the north west side of Denmark you can drive and camp on the beaches, that...
Hej everyone,
I recently put a video together reviewing my Eezi-Awn Blade rooftop tent. The main reason why I did this is because at the time of researching hard shell RTT's the Blade had plenty of advertising but no consumer/owner reviews.
As for the video, it's my first time in front of the...
I agree it does take a bit longer to install the walls, but the protection that they provide is well worth it. I like the fact that Howling Moon allows you to order individually not a complete kit. We only ordered one door and one wall, which allows us the freedom to set it up as we want and...
Hej Thomas,
Difficult to answer your post when I still can't login on my computer, so sitting in front of my phone replying will take some time and I'm sure there will be a few typos and "wrong" autocorrect.
Our plans were to head back to Norway this spring and explore to, but as you said this...
When I was researching an 270° awning, the Quickpitch was just only coming to the market and wasn't readily available, looks to be a quality product, are you happy with it?
It's been a while since I've started this thread, should update it, eh? :wink:
I eventually went with the Howling Moon 2.5m swing awn in the color green. Ok it doesn't "match" the color of the rooftop tent (black/grey) but who cares, as long as it does it's job effectively time after time then...
My plan this fall has been to upgrade to a 270° awning form my Land Rover. With demand very high and supply very low in Europe selection is thin at best, sizes and colors are nearly " what you is what you can buy".
With that said, a 2.0m awning (olive green) is available for purchase but not in...
Jupp. :sunglasses:
Gotland is always fun with this time driving as much as we could on the "bike route" around the island. It gave us the opportunity to drive a lot of smaller roads in the farming areas and forests along the coastline. We found some great camping spots along the way. Ate lots...
Plans are only plans, changing them on the fly is what creates memories Wouter, I look forward to reading and seeing plenty of pictures from your trip. :sunglasses::sunglasses:
With so many of us roaming around Norway in Aug, I wonder if we should start a thread so that everyone can add their dates and possible routes.......With a bit of luck maybe a few of us would cross paths.
@Isaac
Didn't see this post till now, if I can add my 2 cents. Don't under estimate the driving in Norway, on the map it looks find and dandy only a few hundred km's a day BUT once your on the ground in Norway you'll see that it takes much longer than you originally planned plus don't trust...
