I’ve tinted my windows on every vehicle since 99. My Subaru came with 18-20% on all of the back windows and I did the front ones to match. Like anyone I have my reasons (none of which are physical appearance haha) but I have no issues seeing at night or backing up. LED reverse lights certainly...
Need me to break that down for you?
I was just joking about only western Pa (aka Pennsylvania, aka Pennsyltucky) members getting the invite. I subscribed to the thread because I'm not against making the drive across the state to get together. Bald Eagle State Forest is a great place, I know it...
Or just invite a member with extensive knowledge of the area haha.
Subbing because I'm not afraid to drive across Pennsyltucky to get together with OTO.
What I use also. They make nice M/F caps as well which are great for keeping connections clean when I unplug my roof lights. The basket comes off every the winter.
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!
So does anyone have big plans for the winter or are we all just looking forward to Subaru weather? I need to finalize my fridge setup and I’ll be adding rear and rock lights soon.
Welcome! Nice Subaru and a fellow member from Pennsylvania to boot. The Impreza and the XV are essentially the same car so if you ever wanted a cheap lift you could look at a suspension swap.
Welcome and congrats on joining the dirtier side of Subaruing! Please feel free to check in with some of your fellow Subaru members.

For those of you who don’t follow my instagram I thought I’d share some recent pictures. I went poking around in some new areas of familiar spots and since the gates were open I hit a ‘trail’ that I hadn’t seen in 10+ years. DCNR has since ruined.. I mean repaired this trail but it’s still a...
Thank you for that. I have a buddy with a green Outback similar to mine down your way. Have you looked into either the Mid-Atlantic or Northeast chapters of MtnRoo?
Glad to help.
The tow hook is the one that comes with the car and as a result works in the front and back. When I ordered a second hook I also ordered the plugs that cover the holes in the bumper. They’re super cheap and I wouldn’t have any hesitation taking the dremel to them haha. The...
Thank you!
The tow hooks that I use are OE. I keep both the front and rear hooks screwed in all the time anymore and had them powdercoated wrinkle black to go with everything else I've had coated. There seems to be some people who believe you need to spend XXX amount of money on aftermarket...
I’m a function over form guy but that said round lights look so much better than light bars. Light bars are great for custom fitting into a bumper, grille, etc.. though. I have both and due to its placement I get hardly any use of my roof mounted light bar. To keep in the good graces of the law...
I also would have loved to get something together for the fall and still hope to try to do something smaller yet. Bald Eagle will be nothing but endless colors this time of year but it’s tough finding the time for just about anything these days haha. Either way a repeat of springs get together...
This.... ugh. Like they’re the only wheels made hahaha.
Thanks for mentioning MtnRoo Overland. I’m pretty sure Ryan, aka Epic, was one of the group of people I added on FB early.
Thanks guys. Every once in a while I completely miss a Subaru related thread.
As I’m sure you’re already aware @Epic Overland the AWD membership is spotty. That said the Subaru numbers have increased substantially recently so things are changing. I’d never want to intentionally exclude anyone...
