    Gear bins?

Yep! ;) A lot of us use the Plano 1918 and 1919 and Rubbermaid ActionPacker. Others use Pelican, Alubox, and other higher priced options. Here are some existing storage box threads: Plano Cases Waterproofing the Plano Sportsman box Rubbermaid Actionpacker vs Plano Sportsman's Trunk (Review)...

I love it when spammers strike...NOT!

Nope, I accidentally banned a real user from the site. The cleaner tool deletes all of their post, comments, photos, likes, etc. I've been able to unban the user, but need @Michael to find if there's a way to get any of the other stuff back. I've cleaned several hundred spammers over the years...

I love it when spammers strike...NOT!

Thanks guys! I killed a bunch this morning. There's no need to tag us in each spam post by the same spammer. All I need is one, and I can use the "spam cleaner" tool to ban the user and delete all of their posts at once. Or, just use the report button once for each spammer. Now I need to figure...

    4R choose KDSS or not?

I have rock sliders for side protection and the factory skid plates. When I get to the point that those start getting damaged, then I will get aluminum skid plates. I don’t see any reason to replace parts that don’t need replaced. I have a loaded roof rack and pull a teardrop. But the factory...

    4R choose KDSS or not?

The general consensus is that if you are leaving it stock or just leveling, that the KDSS is a nice option. If you are going to do any serious suspension upgrades, skip the extra cost. For my specific use, knowing that a vast majority of my miles would be on asphalt, and that I wouldn't be...

    Issue with Emblem

Hmmm, this is an interesting one!! You are in the member database as member number 6327. And there is another member who is listed in the database as 6227, and who is a registered member of the forum. This sounds like on for @Michael or @Corrie to help with. I'll poke them, but also send the...

    Conversational trouble

@Jku Ben is correct, in that you can turn off email notifications in your preference settings. However, I know of no way for you to get yourself back into a conversation that you left. Depending on which option you chose when you left, there is a chance that the conversation starter can add you...

"Map location" not in my settings

For privacy, you don't want your exact address. The city and country is adequate. The software randomizes your location around your location by a couple of miles. This accuracy can be set in your privacy settings. It looks like you either added or modified your location today. The software only...

"Map location" not in my settings

The Member Map uses your location entered in your profile, not a separate “map location” setting. Make sure it is in a format resolvable by Google Maps (i.e. Provo, UT, not provo ut )

    Clean or dirty

I never washed my Ranger in the 11 years I had it, nor the F150. The WRX got washed the first couple of years, but not the next dozen. The Outback maybe three times in 8 years, and the 4Runner not at all since I bought it. I don’t do mud, though, and we get plenty of rain to wash it down.
