Conversational trouble

I am a "lurking" member and I was recently invited to a Conversation: Trails Near Bend? I was getting hammered with email alerts about it so I used a "leave conversation" button, however I now cannot view the Conversation at all.

Is there a way to rejoin this Conversation? If so, and I do, how can I stay in it without getting email alerts for every new post?

@Jku Ben is correct, in that you can turn off email notifications in your preference settings. However, I know of no way for you to get yourself back into a conversation that you left. Depending on which option you chose when you left, there is a chance that the conversation starter can add you again. Send him a message (conversation) asking to be added again.
