Folded size is 8" X 9" X 31" and the inside bottom of a Plano case is 29" long. It might fit diagonally, but it's raining now, and I don't want to go out and test fit it. Even diagonally, it seems like it would waste space in the case. I'd suggest strapping it to the roof rack if you have one...
An oft used option is to buy an enclosed trailer and build it how *you* want, to the quality for longevity. Of course, that route takes time and know how, which isn't always available.

There is a setting in preferences to "Show me on Map" that is toggled off by default. I just toggled it for you, and you should show up when the map refreshes after midnight Pacific time.
