We made it to Spokane on schedule. Too much to eat and drink already on this trip, and haven’t even made it to Seattle and all that fresh seafood yet!! We will arrive tomorrow, staying at my first ever Airbnb near Sand Beach Park for the next three nights, then flying home Friday night.
We made it to Rapid City last night, and had a nice dinner at Firehouse Brewing. Headed to Bozeman, Montana today.
I sure do love this drive through the rolling prairies and along the periphery of the Badlands. I can’t wait to get back here and do more exploring in June.
This is Claire’s last quarter at Seattle Pacific University. We left northern Ohio yesterday morning and stayed in Davenport, Iowa last night. Tonight we are in Omaha, Nebraska at The Salty Dog.
Tomorrow we head to Rapid City, South Dakota where we hope to have dinner at Firehouse Brewing where...
This thread is about the announcement of designated Overland Bound Comms Frequencies. Let's please keep the discussion here related to that topic rather than what type radio or brand is best or what folks are using. There are already many existing threads for those discussions.

Here is a neat bit of gear I saw on a TearJerkers weekend outing. It is a leveling jack that slides around the low-side tire, and lifts to level the trailer. It works with 13", 14", and some 15" tires. Norco Industries part number BAL 28050 Amazon link...
Prinsu Design full-length rack with ARB 2500 awning, RoadShower 4, Front Runner Jerry Can Mount, and Gobi ladder Not shown is the GMRS antenna mount.. Half of the space is covered with FarmTek chicken coop flooring. I also mount the 100W Renogy rigid solar panel up there as needed.
From this weekend at Delaware State Park, in Ohio, with the Buckeye Chapter of the TearJerkers. Lots of rain. Only casualty was from the leaky CVT shower/changing room, which soaked the toilet paper...

To move it to another vehicle. To take it off to clean and clear coat it. To relocate on your vehicle due to modifications. To sell a vehicle. I’ve done or needed to do all of the above.
The initial RoadShower had an 18 PSI radiator cap. The second model had thicker aluminum and 25 PSI. The current RoadShower models have a completely different industrial type pressure relief valve rated at 65 PSI, and a much stronger tank. The old tank with the new cap couldn’t stand up to the...
Absolutely! When I moved from my 2008 Outback to my 2016 4Runner, I actually *lost* usable storage. The volume on the 4Runner is greater. But a fair bit of that is height, which doesn’t help when organizing stuff on the cargo area floor. And the wheel wells stick out a lot more. Plus, I kept a...
I've never owned a Forester, and had a 2008 2.5 turbo stick-shift Outback. But I've driven recent (20016 and 2017) both Forester and Outback as rentals while travelling. And my wife considered both for her new vehicle in 2017.

Let’s continue with this challenge with something from Alaska!

I have moved your posts out of Kevin's build thread into your own thread to avoid confusion. I'll also modify the link in the registry post.
