Just a reminder since most don’t know and others may have forgotten that OB gets the best discount I’ve seen on Gaia.

I get the feeling people aren’t aware just how awesome the H3 can be off road. Certain models came with front/rear lockers, great low range gearing, and you can run 35’s stock. All with a great V8 pushing it along. The only part I’m not thrilled about is the transmission but it works.
Here’s a little mpg rundown @Baipin. Back when the car was like this on G015’s the best daily driven mixed mileage mpg was 25-25.5
Take the basket off and the mileage was essentially the same but only because of the cold weather. I’m sure I don’t have to tell some people in here but newer...
Tires are a funny thing @Baipin. IIRC Toyos and Coopers are made by the same company so their similarities aren’t a coincidence. I had considered them in the past but ended up going with G015’s. I didn’t hesitate to throw anything at them year round. It’s a much more capable tire than it’s...
Another vote for the Silky Bigboy Pro. Easily stows, cuts silly fast, and it has no depth of cut restrictions like a bow saw. It’s a game changer if you’ve never used one. Great on the trail and I even take it to the tree farm every December.
Thank you very much!
Timing is everything so when I first started doing things to my Outback there weren't a lot of options. If I was doing it again today I'd have a Prinsu rack and I would have gone with Bilstein dampers that were only recently released when I did the springs. I say Bilstein...

Couple things. It’s above your intake so IP ratings may be a bit much haha. Curiously enough it’s also in the engine compartment so it has to have a water resistance rating. I could never say for sure in your case but the Legacy/Outback ECM is in a small closed off compartment under the carpet...
All the popular roads down there can be busy but over the course of our trip I still always managed to have a great time driving the dragon twice in each direction as well as ALL of the surrounding roads. We drove +2500 miles in 5 days and I'd do it again tomorrow regardless of how popular the...
Thank you Trey! The box with wingnuts is actually Traction Jacks..

Fortunately I've only ever used them to help other people out but they work great and the fact that they fold is obviously a big plus in the storage department.
Your new extension for the Canyon...
Love the entire area down there! It’s been a long time but we used to make an annual 5 day trip down there to absolutely shorten the life of every moving part of my vehicle haha. Beautiful roads and wonderful people.
Relative non issue for bikes. They can pass in an instant on the Dragon.
To each their own but having the spare on my roof has never limited what I put up there. I don’t like departure angle robbing attachments, I prefer the versatility of ground tent camping, and although I had originally planned to go with a custom swing out in the skin of the OE bumper cover I...
Depending on how dry it’s been that sand gets crazy soft. I was down this year during a long hot/dry stretch and there were vehicles stuck all over. Conversely after a nice rain you could drive to Carova in a FWD minivan haha.
I don’t know for certain with the 4th gen EVAP canister but the 5th gen vents right above the rear diff while the canister is in the driver rear wheel well. I’m pretty sure the whole canister for the 4th gen is near the diff. A rerouted vent line should help.
The rear differential has a push...
