Well... anything is better than nothing but whatever you do do not install one with a breather. Plenty of people have no idea how the PCV system even works but what’s important is that it’s a balanced and sealed system. The price range you typically see is usually indicative of the name brand...
They absolutely make sense. Once you install one it’ll amaze you at the amount of crud it’ll collect. I replace the plug on the bottom with a barbed fitting and hose that runs somewhere convenient underneath so that when I change the oil it’s easy to drain the can.

Based on your comments I’m not assuming anything about your experience. I can show you shoddy work of a professional plumber who’s trained, licensed, and has 30 years of experience. Time on the job can mean absolutely nothing if you’re not good at what you do and training/licensed... Guess what...
Once again... I stand by my comment. Sounds to me like incorrect method and that you don’t believe in using line dampers since you skipped right over that. Shame since recoveries are potentially dangerous situations and you’re lucky all you lost was a windshield.
I stand by my comment. I have no desire to argue with you but I found your comments misleading and/or inaccurate. If you’ve ever felt a sudden jerk from a kinetic rope/strap you’re 100% using the wrong equipment.
They absolutely are intended to be used the same way.
I think you’re a bit confused on the subject matter. Dynamic recoveries with either a strap or a rope are intended to be done with momentum. It’s the entire point and they can be used in this manner over and over and over and.... over. You...
The ARB snatch strap is designed to stretch 20% while a Bubba Rope kinetic rope is designed to stretch 30-35%. There's no comparison.
The most important part of these, first and foremost, is a properly sized rope/strap. Too light and it could snap, too strong and it will jerk like a tow strap...

I would. I prefer to remove a smaller plate for oil changes vs one large plate the size of two. The Primitive plate does have to be trimmed slightly to work with the LP bumper guard but its a simple job.
Henstep is only really tight at the west end. You can still fit whatever you want through there as long as you're ok with stripes... Not unlike the rest of BESF.
Thats definitely the issue with Henstep. It goes off on its own and can't be tied in well with any of my routes there.
Also if you...
