Well, TBH these KO2's are holding up really well.
My Toyo MT's had to be changed due to dry-rot. I just don't drive my truck enough.
I'm a fan of Yoko's on my previous cars, I'll have to consider them.
BTW I just checked, and it seems that the KO2's are 4.7 pounds lighter per tire than my Toyo...
Thoughts? I have KO2's and lost 3-4mpgs on my truck with them when I replaced my Toyo's. Aside from mpgs, they are good.
I know they were several pounds heavier per tire (edit: I fact checked that, the Toyo's are heavier, my bad) than my Toyo's and feel "stickier" on the street. And they do...
I have BFG KO2's, they are quiet and safe in winter (winter logo).
However, they seem very heavy and "sticky" and I lost 3-4mpgs the moment I installed them.
I had Toyo MTs before and I much preferred those.
They also closed the gun stores. Now we have liberals wondering how to get a gun! Too funny!
Any responsible gun owner already has what they need. The gov't closing the guns stores is an attempted face-punch to conservatives, and keeping the pot stores open shows allegiance with drug users...
Well, it'll be a fun project, for sure. I have my own engineering business, I love when the "final product" comes to reality.
Just be sure to clearly label the bed or truck somewhere that the next owner can see. Cause when I see "flatbed" I'm thinking 1000+ pound palettes and forklifts!
In Europe, passenger cars have higher tow ratings than their USDM equivalents do because they have different rating system. You'll see sedans in Europe pulling dual axle TT's when the same car in USA is "rated" under 3000 pounds.
I know his 1/2 ton "can do it" but technically, by our "laws" or...
I did a little more digging, can't tell from your bio which Ram you have, judging by your profile pic, looks like at least a Quad Cab with 4.7 V8?
You are roughly only allowed somewhere in the range of 1300 pounds payload for 4x4 and 1600 pounds for RWD truck. This includes the cargo in the cab...
No concerns about using a 1/2 ton chassis?
We have many flat beds at work. Usually a flatbed is used along with heavy, palatalized items that require forklift loading. In fact, I don't think any of our trucks are smaller than 4500 or F450 with flatbeds.
I don't think a 1/2 ton chassis has...
Well, most things are in stock. The shelves at Winco are mostly recovered, and Costco seemed to be doing just fine this last Monday I visited.
What boggles my mind is that TP and other paper products has been consistently out of stock since day 1 of the hoarding. I wonder if it is because...
No worries on flipping to RAM! Totally relevant to mention other full size trucks. My buddy has a Cummins, not EcoDiesel.
I'm not bashing the RAM BTW, I had leased a 2016 GTI, my first ever "German" car (made in Mexico) and it had all kinds of nagging little issues, including a transmission...
I'm sorry to hear that, I hope you'll have enough to get through.
This hoarding thing has got me very disappointed in my fellow humans. I seriously believe, that the selfish hoarding will end up with at least 75% of the food products going to waste.
I went to Winco last Monday, I saw 3 people...
Do you have locking diffs?
A few years ago I got "stuck" in snow on a FS road with my 4x4 that had open diffs. I have since had a rear locking diff installed and more aggressive tires and would like to try it again.
Xterras are excellent choices for an option to a 4Runner or FJCruiser. The value is excellent.
However, I wouldn't discount the 2nd Gen Xterra as being too complicated. It's only slightly more complicated than 1st Gen and very capable with a huge boost in power. I remember renting one of them in...
Many vehicles nowadays don't have a mechanical connection to the transmission, even if the gear selector looks traditional. The gear selector in my Mk7 GTI looks "normal" but it is fully electronic.
Dodge/RAM is using the rotary selector to free up console space. However, there have been...
I have read many reviews that say the Tacoma has a high floor, low roof, making it feel like the seat is low to the floor. My co-worker has a 2018 Tacoma and it certainly does seem that way. Cabin is "long" though.
The interior of the Frontier is hideous. I can't believe Nissan never updated it...
