The truth can be very uncomfortable when it just seems easier to bury your head in the sand.
Some positive outlook:

I agree that Trump and FOX tried to downplay it, and they were wrong for that.
However, what would it have mattered if FOX didn't downplay it? The virus was already in circulation when they began "downplaying" it.
Is it true that when Trump put travel restrictions on China that some D's called...
The real reason coronavirus is such a big deal is because it hit the country that manufactures everyone's medical supplies first. 3 things happened in China, they needed the supplies, their production decreased, and they have been hoarding their supplies for themselves.
Because the entire world...
Do you guys think there will be pent-up demand when the "green light" is given causing crowding at more popular areas, or will people be cautious about going back out?
You seem to be slanting against R's.
I live in a blue state, it is literally an open-air freak show here. And despite what Inslee likes to say about "science" we somehow ended up with the worst problem.
I think it's called "TDS" when you try to talk to someone middle of the road like I did and...
I've seen the news about this several times. I believe at least one of them is facing some kind of action.
I don't think anyone is trying to cover it up, I just think the whole epidemic news takes precedence.
That situation is one of the big things that frustrates me about gov't: they are using...
My reasoning for calling them "toolbags" is a lot more complicated than just seeming like I disagree with their science. Or any science.
Their lack of planning, squandering our tax money, allowing our safety, health, security to be outsourced has me very aggravated.
It was their job to plan for...
I'm doing my best to decouple from this issue. Even though I got mad about what the gov't is doing (I still don't like the way the gov't is handling everything) there's nothing an individual can do about it, and hey, it's too cold at this time to really get out. We'll see how things are next month.
Yup. They closed the campgrounds in WA State also.
We have massive taxes here, I'll be holding my breath until they refund me some of those taxes.
Another fun fact, whilst the gov't makes private businesses close down and people lose their jobs, gov't entities continue to pay their employees...
They just closed all campgrounds in WA State, what a bunch of toolbags!

I recently purchased a DAC truck canopy tent for my full size truck.
In setting up my truck, I had considered a few things:
-I have a LEER canopy and a fairly tall truck so a RTT would be very difficult for me to handle by myself. The LEER is only rated 260 pounds so that's another issue.
-I...
There are a few (maybe more than a "few") who are going to "play nice" for a while.....
In King County here in WA state they are planning to release criminals (who have been charged with felonies) back into the general population because the courts can't process them within "due process"...
Cabin fever refers to the distressing claustrophobic irritability or restlessness experienced when a person, or group, is stuck at an isolated location or in confined quarters for an extended period of time.[1] A person may be referred to as stir-crazy,[2] derived from the use of stir to mean...
I thought there was the occasional sentiment to not parse incomplete data or stories?
Is this story factually incorrect?:

I have a bunch of Coleman gear. I have a 425 stove that caused a huge fire 2 years ago when camping. I bought it used from CL, used it several times successfully (I'm a newb to white gas) and one day it puked fuel all over the campground picnic table. After that I bought the propane kit for it...
I'm glad you mentioned Maglite! They have made great strides in their product lineup to catch-up to the excellent Chinese lights. I love that Maglite is still made in USA. I have a protocol, when I buy Chinese flashlights like my Fenix, Thrunite and Streamlights I always buy a Maglite because I...
